Bethesda has added new skills with expansions before, but they’re not always changes to perks.
Currently I don’t know if there are any new skills.

Has anyone installed any user creations on Xbox not from BGS? If so, which ones and are there any issues? Thanks.
I know one you wanted to destroy equipment is available, but it only works on a new game maybe NG+. I bought one that added new options to the boost pack, like melee attacking in the air causes us to dive down to the ground super quick while making us immune to all fall damage.
Although I’m current only using BGS creations because the DLC is around the corner and I want achievements even if I won’t hunt them all. But try out r/StarfieldmodsXbox for some modding ideas, like I can see a new thread for a mod that lets us craft superior armor and advance weapons.
I was looking at the following thus far -
Nothing major with this one but does make the flashlight brighter.
When looting all from a dead body, you can remove their clothes and gear which im pretty certain was in Fallout 4 and other previous BGS games.
This is one creation that I will almost definitely use as I have 10 or so left to do and I don’t like these puzzles at all plus they’re all the same. UGH.
A lot of NPC’s in the world that are dead have no blood splatter on/around them and it annoys me. This creation is supposed to rectify that.
Thoughts?
Good to know, thanks. I’ve maxed out all the skills I want and now have a number of skill points banked, but have been considering maxing out some skills I don’t care for just because, but hearing this I think I’ll hold off.
The Va’ruun inflictor is my favourite ranged weapon, and the Painblade my favourite melee (even if I use the katana more, for aesthetic reasons) so if there’s even a chance that they’ll have some kind of “Va’ruun Battle Techniques” skill tree or something, I’d rather be locked and loaded for that, than max out stuff like Diplomacy or Intimidation.
The only one I have used is vanilla light and it works pretty good, but I wasn’t a to fond of it because I got used to the flashlight as it was.
Yes we can loot everything in Fallout 4, except super Mutant clothing we have to find that around the world from what I remember. If it doesn’t change the loot table you could ebd up with either multiple of the same spaces suits from one body or 2 different types.
Temple puzzles is something we need to do a total of 10 times to get the maximum power up so having them solved saves so much time. I really wish Bethesda had a way to solve the puzzles without needing to fly around so much.
I have only used 2 blood texture mods in Skyrim, one was the original which was better than what the game offered. The other was a re-upload of the mod with the missing files that made the texture look like in the picture, so I don’t know what you will get with this one. But it should add more noticeable blood splatters.
Decided to look up the wiki and most of the new perks added to Fallout 4, are perks we get for doing something in the world. Since Starfield doesn’t do companion perks the same way as Fallout 4, it could be that the new perks are added to reintroduce a similar system to Fallout.
So a special or quest perks we get but don’t actually upgrade or is included in the perk chart/tree, otherwise it could be enhancements to current perk tree(one level higher for certain perks).
Here’s a playlist from Bethesda’s channel:

That would be great, if true. I loved listening to those audio logs you come across in the old NASA base.
You are so right. I love those old audio logs too it helps make the game feel like a Sc-Fi epic
The expansion sound great addition to what is already a top-class game that keeps on getting better with each update and where I had to give top marks to the team and their dedication with the IP
A couple of new creations dropped yesterday:
They also added Shattered Space, so it appears they’re going all in on using Creations to roll out expansions. I saw some discontent about that when things like The Vulture and Escape came out, but people weren’t sure that full fledged expansions would be rolled out the same way. Well, looks like they are.
Doesn’t bother me. Seems good in fact, it’s nice to have all types of DLC in one place. But maybe if you’re heavy into modding it matters.
Yeah seems like a good way to make sure they can drive traffic to paid updates like cosmetics and unpaid updates can be to base game. Plus it maybe makes it easier to keep rolling these out for multiple years.
I kinda hope the next updates or DLC isnt constrained to a single planet but an update throughout the Settled Systems.
Upgraded the Frontier using the ship builder and added the better reactor so I now have 44 bars. I may swap out other stuff but not sure yet.
When swapping out the reactor, I was like where the hell is the list and how do you swap it out. lol Then remembered that when you remove a part of the ship, you basically just click on the empty space and the list pops up.
Once I upgraded my ship, I was able to defeat the Legendary Ecliptic Ship so I was very happy. Have to find the Spacer and VaRuun legendary ships next and going through my side quest spreadsheet.
Out of 207, I had 38 left. Down to 34 as im trying to do everything before the Shattered Space expansion releases on Monday.
Cool, glad to hear you got it sorted.
I know you’ve said it’s not really your kind of thing, but ship building can be really rewarding. It’s something special to fly around in a ship of your own design, inside and out, including paint job and name.
I just had to swap out the Grav Drive since I needed to go 30LY and was only at 26 despite the astrodynamics (?) skill maxed out. The ship builder is obviously amazing for those who want to create/build their own ships. I would have just preferred to be able to max out the Frontier without swapping anything but thankfully, it’s not all that difficult and im getting used to it.
May swap out the engines and weapons to see if I can get better/stronger. The grav drive has max 10 power but when in battle, I don’t exactly need to be wasting those 10 bars when they can go to my engines and weapons.
I did swap out my shield and it’s maxed out. The damage I can withstand is great. It’s what allowed me to defeat that Legendary Ship.
Still loving Starfield. 25 side quests left to do as well as the final story mission before the expansion releases on Monday. Best of all, I started my vacation early so a nice 16 days off. Currently on day 5. Hehehe.
I was looking around for an XP calculator of some kind when I came across this neat breakdown of how the level badge is created.
I kinda wanna get to level 500+ now so I can have a red background, but I don’t see happening without running console commands on a PC. Then again, I may well still be playing this in 10 years, so maybe one day.
Downloaded the game again, getting ready for Shattered Space. HYPE!
