Starfield |OT| You're Finally Awake... In Space!

Can’t be horrible if I never ran into that issue. lol

Haters gonna hate.

Okay. Gotcha. So basically an out of bounds thing.

Stopped by Mars for some sightseeing and couldn’t help but snap a couple of selfies with the local celeb. Felt a bit disrespectful in the second photo though. Oh, and for extra Earth authenticity, I wore the complete Mercury space suit.

Also, anyone collect anything? As a Canadian, I felt this was the obvious choice:

Even have the shepherd’s pie from grandma, but since that’s plated I don’t display it with the rest of the collection.

Just had an my second encounter with these two

They’re partners who met each other when one of them was stranded in space. As part of their anniversary, they go around giving out ship parts to people. The best part is that they remember us if we encounter them a second time.

One of these days I will have to go an find them, maybe even do all the Earth locations.

As for collection, just the Trackers Allience helmet and Explorer space suit, even when I’m not using them I have one of each on my person.

It just works!

Wanted to add, I’m talking about a power that allows us to run around suit in in 0 atmosphere environments. If the 10 version last long enough to not need to use a quantum spark, I’m planning on running around without a spacesuit often.

lol the area around your ship, is about nearly the size of the entire FO4 map, so yeah most people aren’t hitting that wall unless they’re purposely trying to lol.

I agree completely. That said, I’ve hit it twice . Once organically, once through (what I assume was) a bug. The former I was just out exploring. It was early days, and I was just keen on checking the planet out. Don’t even remember what planet it was, just that it was gorgeous with a lot of flora and fauna.

The bug time I was at Sonny Di Falco’s estate and I don’t even know exactly what happened. I was running around looting, and suddenly there was an explosion that launched me extremely high into the air, and I flew across the map at a pretty high clip. Hit the wall in a few seconds. It was pretty cool, and I was sad when I hit the wall.

But yeah, both of those are pretty rare I think. The whole wall-gate was blown WAY out of proportion. Like many, many critiques of this game.

Good read:

From the article:

“We could probably write a book about all of the little easter eggs that appear in our games,” he says.

Yes, please! I would love to read such a book.

Starfield Signal with a new video. Covering Emil’s(BGS) tweets.

https://www.youtube.com/live/VAdAHiFU_dw?si=UsKX_kbgFsCkRX3o

Very long video though and not everyone wants to take the time out for that. It’s about these tweets.

I saw and the response that reddit had on it had 2 threads locked because all they were doing was shitting on his tweet and calling his writing bad.

Imo, the people on the Starfield reddit don’t have a clue on what good writing is.

We will finally get Skyrim horses .

I am surprised that considering how much bigger this game is (compared to Skyrim) they didn’t think on-planet travel would be necessary before now.

I wonder if at some point in the future they change their minds on the whole land/take off sequence and allow us to use our ships more freely to fly in the lower atmosphere (or manually leave it altogether) e.g. NMS style:

Some kind of hover bike that attaches to your ship would be awesome.

Give me one of these.

Man… Calling it now, some of us who played it from the start, 3 whole months ago, will be all “back in my day” once those vehicles launch.

And by some of us, I mean me.

It’s likely one of the vehicles we see around different areas that are use to transport goods or the one that has arms.

Edit: my thinking if they’re not planning on adding a new vehicle would modified versions of these 2.

Mechs are vehicles, right? :upside_down_face:

Yeah, this is what I want. An ATV. Perfect for getting around the planets. As long as gasoline/fuel isn’t a pain in the ass to maintain, this would be very welcomed.

Not galaxy legal.

We don’t have to maintain fuel on our ships or jetpacks so Vehicles will likely be treated the same. With the exception being(I hope) when they launch a survival mode for Starfield.
