Yes! LIST would be perfect.
Definitely donāt force it, just something on the side.
The only thing missing would be a sim settlements like structure for it.
It would be something like, list wants us to scout a planet to settle colonist, with specific Biomes requested like mountains/savanna/forest/swamp. So, we do a survey in the biome and use the LIST version of the beacon to start creating a settlement, but giving the colonist jobs to build and improve the areas themselves while we provide them with the materials needed to do so. That way it would feel like were just helping them build their community not doing it all ourselves.
Though itās likely not going to be implemented that way by Bethesda, so we would have to wait to see if the Sim Settlements modders work on a Starfield version.
Junoās Gambit
Thatās my kind of thing that I wanted the game to give me
Yea I will probably be playing Forza and Starfield well in to next year these are both forever games
That was brilliant.
So pretty much at the end of the main story and I love it! Just need to do a couple of last quest(10 more potatoes!) and activities. I think the only quest line I have zero interest in so far is Crimson Fleet, as I donāt have any insentive to actually go through it.
Currently traveling with Barrett(first time I actually chose to travel with someone other than Sarah), and the first thing he wants to do is the thing. Afterwards, I will travel with Anjdrea and for a bit(maybe that could be the incentive and another I did quest involving another ex Crimson Fleet) finish some quest.
Edit: Dino fight!
Sending happy potato-hunting vibes your way! Lol
I love when youāre just doing your thing in the game and something like this comes out of nowhere. Itās what makes BGS games special.
I personally used it for all my crafting/ weapon and suit upgrades.
I had around 8 simple outposts collecting the ābulkā type ingredients as it was a nightmare to only buy 5-10 at a time from a vendor.
Occasionally I would go to the outposts, grab all 1000 resources and then bring them back to the Lodge and dump them there in the unlimited chest.
With the spare resources you can essentially āswapā them with a vendor by buying all his other misc materials and selling your bulk rubbish .
By the time I got to NG my chest in the Lodge was better stocked then a 100 of the vendors combined (and free) .
Alternatively if your not interested in crafting you can just create one good outpost (rare materials) and collect the minimum resources each time to sell at a vendor for easy cash (Neon is the best place to sell as thereās two shops which have over 10k).
For some reason YouTube thought that I would be interested in negative Starfield videos lol. But so many of them are out there. I mean, if itās not for you just move on, but I guess that will not bring views. Kinda sadā¦
I hit over 9 days at the weekend, I donāt think thereās anything which could convince me itās ābadā at this point .
Is there bugs? Sure. I am finding more and more the further I progress but I havenāt had this much fun in a game in ages.
I suspect most of these videos are created by people who either only put in 1-2 hours or who actually enjoyed it but are putting our negativity for views.
I got done with those last night and definitely agree about them being the highlights, though not about the Entangled difficulty complaints. I loved that it threw in a new gameplay mechanic that late in the game and the way it plays out is both creepy and trippy.
I think Iāll spend the next day or two doing some side missions, then finish off the main quest and start NG+ before the long Spanish weekend hits.
What difficulty complaints did people have? I thought it was fine. Itās basically just Effect and Cause or A Crack in the Slab.
Something I learned recently, we can charge up the EM rifle we use to knock people out. It for whatever reason works like the Magsniper, where to get a full strength shot we need to hold down RT to charge it.
You know what is astonishing to me is that there are loads of things in the game that you really donāt have to engage with at all, and I love that.
I compare it to the other major RPG i played this year, Tears of the Kingdom, where you actually need to engage in all the fiddly mechanics. Like, you need batteries, so you need to upgrade that, you need better armour so you need to do all the quests associated with that upgrade pathā¦
In Starfield, Iām approaching 80 hours and have uncovered what I think to be the main central mystery, but Iāve not engaged in so many elements, and the experience is better for it (to me).
- Not built an outpost
- Not done any crafting at any work benchs
- Not cooked a meal
- Not modded a weapon
- Not done any stealth missions (or missions that have stealth, iāve blasted 'em)
Itās brilliant.
They found it hard to navigate and a lot of people went in with shit gear and low leveled(or were suffering from skill issues)
Lotās of people complaining on reddit about Entangled
Interesting. I guess Iām just overleveled lol
So they rushed it because of people telling to do so.
As Iāve gotten further into the game (still havenāt finished the story), Iām so glad I didnāt rush to NG+.
