I just stopped at The Well not too long ago. Not for a mission but to offload some contraband I picked up ( I forget where) during a mission. But yeah I’m doing the Crismon fleet questline when I’m done with the UC. Started with the Freestar Ranger questline which was pretty good as well. I make sure to hit the main story for two or more missions ( mostly to get new powers) I am so glad I didn’t take on the Vanguard mission earlier because I would not have been prepared evel wise.
Been wondering, how do I transfer items from my inventory to the shop?
Shop or ship? If you want to sell, go to a store and click buy, just click LB once to bring up what you are carrying and LB again to sell direct from your ships hold.
If you want to transfer to your ship, when you’re close to the ship open the menu, use the bottom left section of the center circle to bring up your ship and then you will see a button for the storage(think it’s X), when you click on an item it will transfer to you and if you bring up LB it shows what you are carrying and if you click on an item it will transfer to the ships hold. For crafting material you can transfer it all with RB
Gave up on stealth since I really needed it to be higher I think for the end of the Ryujin mission I was talking about the other day and decided to just use my shotgun instead. Got rushed by about a dozen guards but it was fun. And then just decided since I’d already broken the advice about not killing people to just keep it up. When I went back I did get a talking to about leaving a trail of bodies but it was a lot easier. Really do recommend that faction as well, has some neat stuff in it including getting the first level of an interesting ability without having to spend a point for it, but I’d suggest making sure your stealth level is higher than a 2 if you want to have better immersion in what the story is. There are 2 missions back to back where it’s pretty helpful.
After 48 playtime hours of pottering about Sol, Alpha Centauri and a few other systems, the game has finally sent me to Neon and once again the game has found another gear to shift into.
Just landing and walking to a building dumped like seven or eight new activities to follow up.
Absolutely wild the number of locations in the game. I was ready for it to just be New Atlantis, Cydonia and Akila, but Hopetown, Paradiso, New Homestead, Gargarin Landing… The feel of humanity spread across the galaxy is really opening up, if you let it come naturally.
I don’t want to do a disservice to reviewers but I do get the feeling that even with a two week review window that wasn’t the optimal way to play the game.
I think the lipsync looks great. Like just the lipsync on its own, outside of the other facial animations, is actually almost always correct, because I actually use the Xbox zoom feature and zoom on their mouths during dialogue and can see them syncing accurately looking nice
This was a great game 9 out of 10 from me loved the middle to end of the main quest and the factions quest were all enjoyable to me
Yeah the lipsync is actually not bad. The problem with the animation is in the top half of the face. Fix that and up the general quality of the faces and it’ll be great.
It’s nothing that is taking away from the current experience, things are conveyed just fine and the va are amazing, but it would give much more with better not just animation system but overall dialogue direction with positioning and camera work, I look at CDPR do in that regard and it’s more lively and expressive. Should be a big technical focus for TES6 to overhaul the system.
Starfield is insane, not a single “bad” side quest so far, no “pick up 10 flowers and bring it back to me” and the one that was just like that “find 10 iron” on Mars evolves into a different quest just after that.
Bravo!
There is an activity to bring 150 Cooper.
I haven’t gotten that lol.
But I’ll do it whenever I get it.
I also have gotten a couple of find 7 antimicrobials and return them to a space station, but it was something where I offered to help them and then went back a while later and offered again. Also had one on Neon where I got a job making aurora that kind of has a go fetch quest attached as well, but that became more interesting than I expected as well.
This is what the Mantis’s helmet flashlight looks like, nice.
But they seem rare, which is cool, most RPGs are full of these.
Rare and easy to skip if you want, yeah. And a lot of the ones that seem to be that type end up being more.
The hardest of the go pick these things quest I’m on is go get 50 potatoes, I could just convince the person to skip it but I feel I would do them a disservice if I did.
The infiltration mission for Ryujin tower was fun. Tense, because I have zero points in stealth, but I use one Reconstim once things started getting a little more tight. Getting caught also helped me learn guards locations and movements, which allowed me to get wait them out and get around them. Some guards were easy to get by and towards the end I turn off the light S and got to the office with no problem. The way stealth works in this game reminds me of a mix between Fallout 4 and Skyrim.
