about 10% out of 1000 planets - about 100 planets - that’s a good amount if you see it that way.
And like you said, that does not mean there is nothing to check out in the ones that have no life.

Yeah, perhaps some of the ones that don’t have life have environmental reasons why, that pose their own challenges to the player.
Sheesh, my bad. The weather is getting to me.
I think. ![]()

That isn’t bad at all, indeed!!!
relax
The cool thing about Starfield is you could probably stick to 4 or 5 planets and spend hundreds of hours with the game, the rest of the planets are just there if you want extra content.
But I need all 1000 planets to be fully handcrafted and the size of real planets!!
/s
100 planets with life is more than probably 99% of the people that will play will ever explore
Perhaps Rare are working on a Starfield MOD for it now as I type this…
I can see it now, every planet is probably bigger than the biggest open world game out there with about 20-30 filled with humans with hand crafted areas.
Like holy damn! I haven’t even explored all of Skyrim, I sure as heck won’t explore the entire human inhabited ecosystem.
You know what would be nice in Starfield mods?
Each xbox studio putting some time into the game and making there franchise related planet or areas on the planets
Like gears of wars kind monsters in one planet and the other having halo world like structures
So you are saying the Banjo Kazooie world is true
I wonder if allowed size for mods on Xbox will be bigger than what we got with their previous games. You’d think it would be significantly bigger.
The stuff folks are gonna create is going to be the stuff of dreams. I hope we can use many of them on our Xbox.
Yeah it’s fantastic. I really misunderstood it initially. This is amazing.
10% is not even realistic, that is adjusted for fun factor allready ![]()
I like that the game is somewhat grounded in reality as a base but still adjusted for fun, like they said in the Direct.
Can’t wait to play this Game of Games!
Sera would be pretty awesome ngl.
How do you fish on a planet where water cannot exist…
Clearly the fish have evolved and built their own transportation systems.
10% is a lot. It won’t feel as repetitive stumbling upon creatures across 100 planets. Also the rest of the planets not having life doesn’t mean their isn’t points of interest and quests.
What kind of PC would you need to run starfield at 1440 P 60? im thinking of building one but its been years since I last did it.i just want to have something that can do 1440 P 60 high settings. Then next gen ill update everything to high end stuff. I know starfield has recommended settings but Iv seen a few videos saying those are for 30 FPS but nobody really knows
It initially sounded low to me, but then actually thinking about it 100 is a lot, plus seems feasible for truly distinct creatures and planets not just purple dinosaur 12.
Did they say if we could have a Dog companion? I could imagine Vasco loosely being the “Dog” character for this game but it would be cool if so.
