Senua's Saga: Hellblade II - Gameplay reveal

I think there was a serious missed opportunity by not showing the combat gameplay. Looked really impressive though, the scale looks insane.

We didn’t get a release year so it’s probably still quite far away. Maybe they just couldn’t show it yet? But I agree, it would have made an already amazing video even better.

Yeah. Sort of wanted a God of War 2016 moment, game being 2 years away but you just absolutely go for the moment and show off the actual combat aspect.

Trailer was still amazing though, absolutely no doubt now that Ninja Theory is going to be a juggernaut in the industry for years to come.

did you see that spear physics and throw animation ? this is alone should tell you the core gameplay is not ready to be shown

Want to show some love to the cloth physics and the cloud and lightning effects. Everything on display is top tier.

Also I might be seeing things, but it looks like the giant’s charred shoulder is giving off steam from the rain hitting it when he reaches out the Senua at the very end?

Looks absolutely amazing. I find it hilarious some people on other places are asking where’s the gameplay or saying downgrade :roll_eyes::roll_eyes: Hope they revamp the combat as I really hated that in the original but I’m sure they will.

This, Alan Wake 2 and A Plague Tale Requiem were my highlights of the show. Wasn’t gonna watch the show and was about to go to bed, then I heard the H2 trailer was out so decided to watch. Big mistake as it was so bloated and boring. Why even talk about a Grubhub code right after showing the Plague Tale trailer? That’s nasty.

Yeah it’s all superb, it’s truly what you expect from a new generation. NT is going to prove to be an amazing acquisition for Xbox.

I hope the studio is gonna grow in size, so that maybe more than one game could be worked on which is just as big in terms of scope. I hope they continue to make third person action adventures, it’s awesome to see

Haven’t played the first one, but not sure how much of that demo could be user controlled other than the running.

Game looks totally amazing though. Some embarrassing takes out there.

Yeah like others I was disappointed to not see the combat as it looks like they are putting serious work into that from the behind the scenes and the increase in developers for it

But the game is still early and covid had a serious impact on their mocap so it’s understandable

Also makes me wonder how good Project Mara will look

Oh no, did you tweet that too?

Because you’ll be quoted in some console war twitter spaces for sure

Ah Twitter spaces.

When I thought tweet and follow recommendation notifications were annoying enough.

ML!!! Nice!

Good to hear it’s being used.

They still have that Project Mara game/thing? in development so they are a multiple team studio.

This is my only gripe with the trailer, but this might be only for the trailer also, gameplay should be faster paced with huge improvements.

Now, why the hell people are talking about downgrade? I’ve never seen anything like It graphically.

Only other thing graphically that looked as impressive as this was The Order to me lol. That game looks bonkers still.

It’s still early of course but hopefully gameplay wise the game will be vastly improved over the first game in all aspects.

About the visuals I don’t know what to say about the whole downgrade stuff because it’s too stupid to even talk about downgrades when the game looks this good. Like it’s ridiculous to even take seriously braindead fanboy crap like that. I am too old for this shit. :phil_lmao:

Let me guess, the downgrade talk is on RE?

Watching the trailer on my setup and it looks insane graphically. I imagine the sound is gonna be even more insane once its properly mixed but my soundbar is doing work right now placing the sounds.
