I don’t think anything Sony did last year counts as a big show, March won’t either if it’s a State of Play.
I think most of us would like to see more shows from Xbox. Hopefully they will do more when the games they have in development are further along.

Wouldn’t mind a single 20 minute showcase for Redfall but I honestly don’t see Microsoft doing that.
Sony’s PlayStation Showcase in September was their major show. If it’s State of Play, it’s a minor showcase and if it’s PlayStation Showcase, then it’s major.
I think full production started in 2018. Remember Arkane Austin would have had a break after completing Prey, and also worked on Mooncrash.
Game was announced as summer 2022 and I don’t have any reason to believe that has changed as of now. It has been a wild two years though, and any game (yeah, even Starfield) has the potential to be delayed.
Starfield will make it. Its coming this year, book it
I don’t think their breaks are that long imo, Arkane Lyon is already started pre-production for their next game after Ghost Loop, a few months back.

Microsoft needs to show this before E3 or their marketing is worse than I thought. Imagine letting this game get overshadowed by Starfield and whatever else they have at their E3 show, it needs its own Xbox direct so it can shine properly.

did forza horizon overshadow halo infinite, or vice versa??? i swear ya’ll think you know how advertising work, but have no clue.
The situation is different. Halo and Forza are some of the biggest Xbox franchises, everybody knows what these games are about. On the other hand, Redfall is a completely new IP and we don’t even know the genre of the game for certain.
If it’s delayed fair enough I’m going off the assumption it’s not.
It’s a completely new IP coming out in the summer according to Microsoft not comparable to huge franchises like Forza and Halo.
