Honestly can see gamepass perks like skins and of course discount on battlepass and dlc which already happens with other gamepass games . I don’t think they’ll lock much content except for let’s say Xbox character skin in cod

If there’s one besides being on gamepass then you’re correct, because playstation being paried with Xbox seems exactly what I’m talking about.

You said that Sony would never allow inferior versions on their plattform. I already gave you 2 examples where they did. Heck, they even allowed inferior versions of their own game on their own plattform with MLB.

Day gamepass goes to PlayStation is day I leave Xbox ecosystem that I’ve spent 20 years in. Sure I’ve built a strong digital collection , but at end of day if Xbox games are on PlayStation I don’t see any incentives in staying on Xbox . Also if they start releasing games on PlayStation then it would be tempting to ditch Xbox if PlayStation gets their games anyways

But you’ll still be in the Xbox ecosystem with your Game Pass sub. You’re still a Xbox MAU.

Yeah, I think that is the way they can leverage like early access to beta which playstaton used to get is now reversed. I don’t think free battle pass is wise, but give some stuff a season starter pack free on gamepass which gives you some coins and a skin/emote or something.

right now i only expect SP Games to be exclusives from these publishers (Zenimax and Acti).

Considering that Sea of Thieves is not multiplatform we can have some expectations regarding exclusivity there. Though I am not sure if the game is GaaS or just co-op. But these days most of the games are GaaS so…

They do. Free membership for both is a perk that goes up every odd now and then. Not currently because Bethesda’s current perk is a ton of free Doom Eternal skins.

I think MS will go case by case on GAAS outside of XGS. Co-Ops and small shared worlds will probably be GP exclusive due to network effects. MMOs above 76 sized may be best suited for multiplat but I don’t know with PC in the equation.
