So Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be free from the 19th of April until the 15th of May. Meaning tomorrow.

That $30 PS5 upgrade fee for Ghost of Tsushima is a bit of an eye-popper huh…
Not for me. Tsushima was my 2020 game of the year and is one game I wouldn’t mind replaying plus the expansion will be damn good so hell yeah!!! My September game has been solved.

Supposedly it’s just a support studio.
Nixxes is a PC and console port studio. They usually do PC ports but did a few console ports as well including the PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The way it was worded in the press release its implied they will join the tech side.
It would be a waste of an acquisition if Nixxes isn’t doing their PC ports in my opinion.
Thats what I think they were brought in for mostly.
Me too. Sony is starting to put their games on PC so Nixxes would be perfect for this so they can eventually be caught up and put their exclusives on PC day one.

Kinda surprised, feel like the narrative around the PS5 in Japan has been overblown. Seems to be doing quite well.

It certainly is. But I think the main trend is less about how well playstation 5 is doing cuz it is indeed doing well, but how exponentially better the Switch is doing right now to indicate a tangible shift in market.
