If you’re worrying about if PlayStation won’t have those quirky or medium games from developers I talk to from Japanese studios I wouldn’t worry too much. PlayStation is securing exclusive rather than developed in-house (Epic Game Store kinda deal) you seen it already with Ghostwire and a batch of Square Enix titles. During the next few months of summer, you going to see these mid-tier games from my knowledge they want them to have short marketing periods (4-7 months). I’ll throw a bone some of which I revealed on Reddit.

  • Silent Hill (Developed by Koei Tecmo, published by SIE/Konami, October 2021 (From last interaction I had) )
  • Armored Core 6 (Console Exclusive to PlayStation 4/5, VR mode, publish by Bandai Namco (originally was a western publisher) )
  • Keita Takahashi x Annapurna Interactive (Console Exclusive to PlayStation 4/5, Japanese Studio working on his next project )
  • New Ape Escape Project (Q-Games)

Is FromSoft developing Armored Core 6 ? Is Silent Hill exclusive ( since you didn’t put the exclusive mention, I’m wondering ).

Armored Core 6 has been in development for so long I would compare it to Ace Combat 7 development from stuff I heard tho I’m not comfortable going into detail especially the ex-publisher of the game.

Silent Hill will be console exclusive due to Sony publishing it like the Nioh series tho Konami is allowed to publish it on PC to my knowledge. It’s pretty much the “Nioh” deal from what I heard.

Never was a Japan Studio project, seem like wires were cross when people heard Sony is involved development of the game etc.

This makes no sense because Konami could publish that. Why would Konami just give that to SIE? If KT are developing it then its not going to be AAAnough for them to spend on it.

XboxEra does have a verified tick, but it’s for noted industry folks, like journalists and game developers.

We won’t ever ‘verify’ like some other places do, because I won’t demand someone provide me ‘proof’, be it photo or otherwise with only my guarantee it won’t go anywhere. Its not fair on them.

So you want to ‘leak’ something? Fine. If turns out to be a fabrication, it’s on your head, and the user may be moderated.

I look forward to banning @Shpeshal_Nick any day now.

Not much sadly and some stuff I’m not confident to share.

Tho Persona is indeed coming to Xbox (Game Pass) tho it’s going to be like the Yakuza roll out it seems you be getting Persona 4 Golden first which will be early Summer I heard leading up to Persona 5 Royal in early Autumn.
