I just read that article. It’s awful. I mean first ‘show was really good’ but then ‘Sony left out all their massive games that are coming soon’ ‘left a disappointment’ ‘has to be another show right guys’?

It’s so transparent. No information. No news. Just straight out to damage control for Sony.

Are we allowed to talk about TLOU Factions 2 being in development hell at this point? It’s now 3 years removed from the game that it was supposed to be the multiplayer mode of, and we haven’t seen gameplay. All the while it’s constantly rumored to be right around the corner and it’s definitely going to be in this next showcase guys!

Sony should have given Bungie the Killzone IP. But I guess they are still smarting from the time it killed Halo.

Well, Bungie said they are releasing their games on all platforms and making Killzone multiplat will make some people really mad.

I also think that Marathon is the project called Matter ? So it was in development even before the acquisition.

This was their big showcase, there is zero reason not to reveal games of your own, especially if they are close to being ready. Utter bollocks.

Eh, I don’t want to assume it’s in dev hell, same as all those Xbox projects that havn’t been shown, I think it’s just a case of thing’s taking forever these days, especially after Covid

But to me it felt like what Avowed is to the Xbox show next month, a game that isn’t confirmed to be there but everyone 100% expects it to show up

I am wondering about the same thing too…what are the games that are pretty much ready? Insomniac is releasing a game this fall, Guerilla, Polyphony and Santa Monica released their big games last year, TLOU2 and GoT were released at 2020…Demon’s Souls and Returnal were 2020 and 2021 titles as well. As far as we know Bend Studio started working on their new game at June 2021…so besides the rumored Uncharted game that may be ready for a showing what else “that people are expecting” is “pretty much ready”? what am I missing? :thinking:
