Mine is even worse. I only know Spiderman, Venom and Carnage. Didn’t even know who Miles Morales was. Like how many Spiderman are there? i thought it was just Peter.

I think they showed the wrong movie trailer. Would have worked best to show how they are bringing movies to games or games to movies if it was the same franchise.

Quite a bit due to the multiverse . But there is a reason spiderman is usually right up there with batman for a rogue gallery. Spiderman has a fantastic cast of villains to pull from.
We had Jim Ryan talk to the fans about when PS5 games should go to PC, but apparently not what fans want to see in the Playstation showcase.

To be honest I’ve always found peoples fascination with spiderman strange. I got bored of games that you swing around and complete dots on a map after the first infamous. Hulk on the og xbox, then prototype and infamous and I was done with this type of game.
If I owned a ps5 that’s the last exclusive I’d play.
the movie version basically putting kraven as Steve Irwin (rip), but evil. no i’m not making this s up. if you are cared enough to see the next masterpiece after morbius (and the dud venom 2).
Same, very disappointed. Lost interest completely, what a waste.

A graphically amazing Spider-Man fulfills something in us that a younger generation can’t appreciate

Im kind of the same now but I’d have been all over this if I was younger
I had way too much fun swinging around in Spiderman 2 on ps2, still has better swinging than Insomniac’s NO CAP

The first little bit I was like, OK this could be neat, then I realized it was against other players and it lost me. I know there are people who like that, but I’d much rather do me and (maybe) 1 or 2 more vs computer instead. So I guess contraband.

Especially if Sony does what they did last night, where they reserved all their 1st party stuff at the end, gives the feeling that whatever came earlier no matter how big (AC mirage, AW II) is not as prestigious.

But the last time they had nothing but CG (SM2 and Wolverine announce, ironically enough), I was told that CG didn’t matter for them because of their studios’ track record… which always was an absolute bullshit excuse. Track record doesn’t mean anything towards graphics on a new gen of hardware, and it means even less when you remember that the best devs still release bad/less-than-great titles.

The weirdest part is that the Xbox Store has some screenshots from MGS3, so there is clearly some functional game that could have been shown.
