Most likely it was supposed to be Horizon until it got delayed. Stray was also meant to release this year too.

Sony rarely has anything for Oct/Nov/Dec so this year isnāt any different than previous years. Unless theyāre launching a console, they donāt really have anything in these months. Third party games will carry PS5 like they usually do in the final three months of the year.
People are going to be playing Far Cry 6, Dying Light 2, Back 4 Blood, COD, BF 2042 and whatever other third party games im missing.

So for God Of War I bet itās a mostly CGI trailer with some gameplay spliced in.
Now if all of you would cast your mind back to May 2020 when Xbox had their mini event before E3, they were blasted for not showing any gameplay, despite the majority of games having these exact trailers, CGI with gameplay spliced in. If I am right and the God Of War reveal is like this, Iām suuuure the energy will be the same, right?
The short length of the show leads me to believe it wonāt be a gameplay walkthrough.

Man Iāll be disappointed if the ābanger announcementsā are moneyhats for Street Fighter and BioShock. Very disappointed. And then disappointedly spend $500 on a PS5.

I will definitely blast them. I fucking hate CGI. Would much rather see developers/publishers wait until they can showcase gameplay instead of showing a CGI trailer.
Exclusive, timed or multi-platform day one, neither of those two franchises interest me so im hoping that those games arenāt even on the showcase.
Well, itāll depend on how many more weird anticustormer decisions is he going to make. This guy became CEO when Playstation was already number 1, heās still riding that PS4 wave.

After that logo trailer last year I expect them to show gameplay like they did for the first game. Kratos with his son fighting that boss. Did they show CG for God of War reboot at all?
If theyāre full console exclusive, Iāll play them on PC, having a PS5 just for SF6 would be insanity to me.

I agree but Jimbo is a money guy and if he makes Sony more money than the PS4 generation, none of the bad stuff is going to matter because the higher ups wonāt care.

Heāll make more money if people are willing to pay. Short term, yes no problem, people who have a PS5 are hardcore gamers and/or fanboys. Weāll see long term, if he keeps pushing these weird policies and xbox doesnāt screw it up which is still a possibility.
IDK SP 2 is possible the main team on spider has been working the sequel since 2019,SP will generate hype even if the reveal just a logo
Weāll see what happens in the months and years to come. If Sony pulls in massive profits with Jimbo, heās not going anywhere.
One thing that occurred to me is that if Sony would have just stayed with their original āwe believe in generationsā, they wouldnāt be having these issues at all because there would be no PS4 version of their exclusives. Kind of funny how all of that is playing out. lmao.

Kena, Deathloop + multiplat stuff. Not a lot, especially compared to Xbox. But they can still try splitting the 2022 stuff and even a 2023 announcement or two b/t this showās contents and TGAās. Granted, it is then a waiting game but if they make up dates for some 2022 stuff (which ya know Sony will bc they always just make up dates to spin the narrative) it will at least help their PR for the holidays a bit.

Im expecting near future games so Deathloop, Horizon, GT, FF, and a few third party games
Just like the last time. Near future 2021 games Grand Turismo, HFW, GoW and launch window Ratchet.
This isnāt the Sony way of doing things, theyāll announce things way ahead of time like always.
