Hexic was the GOAT

But yeah, despite gamepass, having a packed in game does bring up a different nostalgic factor

Hexic is still free right now.

Dolby Atmos/DTS X has been amazing for 3D audio, I can’t listen to music or play games any other way.

Holy crap!

bruh its fucking hilarious, Sony is kinda super silent here at the moment, forget preorders, we dont even know the price yet and Xbox Series preorders have already sold out lol And last generation, Xbox one released a year late too, now seems like it’s flipped where me might be seeing PS5 take a few months to come, cuz even december is looking bleak for them

PS5 not going to have any heating issues.

And Bloomberg was right on spot!

They spent a lot on cooling

This is gigantic heat sink

:scream:

“Same performance as a vapour chamber” but twice the size.

So basically it’s all heatsink and power supply.

Interesting that the CPU and GPU were ladled separately in different views seemed like they were trying to give the impression they were separate chips.

Guess this means we aren’t getting any more details on the silicon before launch.

Why aren’t Sony sending out PS5’s to people for testing? Official videos is nice and all, but I want people like Digital Foundry to try stuff without the PR-aspect.

Also all that plastic like the stand and wings are just accidents waiting to happen when people start pushing too hard etc.

I mean it’s very obvious why they won’t. They know the results will not be favourable to them.

The silly thing is the sooner they get it out of the way the better. They’ve sold their first batch of PS5s what they should fear is what the head to heads do to that second wave of potential buyers. For stuff like black friday and Christmas MS have all the time in the world this time to slice at Sony unlike the Xbox One Launch.

This strangely reminds me of the PS3 launch, initial excitement before people saw that machine in the flesh and how big and ugly it was. Then looked over saw the 360 with CoD2 playing on those Samsung TVs and jumped ship.

Really wish that Sony had a full glossary of all the system specifications and features like Microsoft has for Xbox Series X. I’m still waiting for Sony to confirm all the features of the RDNA 2 chip set.

The simple fact of the matter is that Xbox completely lapped Sony on the hardware engineering front when you consider how gigantic that PS5 is and yet less powerful than the Xbox Series X. It does seem like it is large enough that noise and heat should probably be okay it would seem.

There is a reason why they won’t release that information. It’s going to look outdated to the enthusiast crowd when they find out that it’s RDNA 1.5

Imagine MS having this much lack of transparency and trying extremely hard to control the narrative but spoon feeding information that they choose.

Sorry, but this made me laugh so hard.
