I had this preordered but I’m waffling because of just how difficult people are making this out to be.
I hated Sekiro because I don’t have time to “git gud”.
I don’t mind hard games, but the games have to be fair and respect my time.
I might try to refund, but Sony’s refund system is garbage.
As long as you don’t download the game, you can easily refund the game.
And this is why Gamepass is such a great deal… Gamers don’t have to worry about buying and refunding at all
I’m addicted to Sifu lol.
I definitely don’t recommend this game to anyone who doesn’t like difficult games though, it’s kicking my ass.

Sekiro is fair. If you die in any of From Softs recent games, chances are, it was your fault. That’s the whole point, tough but fair.

After reading reviews, I could not be less interested in Sifu. This whole trend of hard games where you get punished for dying and have to redo levels to master them is just not my thing. I even bounced off of Hades.

I couldnt stand Hades but I liked Returnal lol.
Played Sifu for almost 2 hours today , really fun but hard as fuck .
Returnal and Sifu would have been guaranteed completions for me if they were simply straight forward games with no rogue like elements. Oh well.
At least Horizon II: Forbidden West is going to be amazing and best of all, a straight forward game.

Yeah, it’s probably going on PC at some point. I played it for four hours and loved everything in the game during that time except for the main aspect of the game - the rogue like elements. lol

Absolver was similarly beating my ass back in the day and was one of the reasons I stopped playing (and this is coming from someone who can regularly beat Sekiro’s final boss damageless). But if Sifu has better controls and more streamlined combat then I’d be down.
I don’t mind hard games if it is satisfying to play and the gameplay loop doesn’t drag.
Returnal, for example, was too much of a slog for me prior to the patch where they added the possibility of shutting down the game without losing the progress of the run.
And I can’t get into Souls games but loved Bloodborne and Sekiro (although the constant mini bosses kinda made me take a 2-month break).
With Hades my biggest gripe is the slow progression, which makes it too unrewarding for me to sit there and do runs.
