Talking about hard games, I haven’t play one that kicked my butt so many times that it even made me destroy one controller like Ni-oh.
Jeeeeeesuuuus, that game is on another whole level of frustration but at the same time it was soo good that made play it again and again until I finished it.
BUT I’LL NEVER TOUCH NI-OH 2 NOT EVEN IF YOU PAID ME 1 MILLIONS DOLLAR TO DO IT!!! My sanity is recovering from that centipede dude boss.
I didn’t wanna use “second party” cuz several people would jump at me saying “that’s not a thing. If it’s published by a first party, it’s a first party game” lol.
Spiderman 2018 was a second party game, so was Bloodborne. This is pretty huge even if the studio isn’t first party (yet).
At this point, I’m not sure why anyone would not be expecting Factions day 1 on PC as well.
The only reason I’m not entirely sold yet is because this company was invested by Sony and they probably had it worked down the road before Sony gave them funding. Now, it can be argued that multiplayer is essential to have more players, so PC is a must, so who knows if that is really the case. I’ll wait for more games to make a judge on that.
What is the deal with SIFU? Is it tim3d exclusive or a full on Sony exclusive?
It’s definitely my type of game butthe forced digital only release deters me. That and I don’t have a ps5 and have 0 interest in buying an action game for ps4 that can’t run higher than 30fps
Game is hard but I like hard games. Hopefully this is ps plus game by the time I get a ps5. Or someday it comes to Xbox. Not sure.
Are you surprised that an online project will be ported to PC on the first day?
These are literally games for making money on microtransactions. Of course they need more coverage.
Don’t compare it to single blockbusters. I’m not sure that Sony will ever release them on the first day on PC.
I’m not surprised was the entire point of my post.
I’m not comparing anything to anything, I’m just recognizing the reality of Sony this generation. You talk about MP games requiring making money from MTX. These blockbusters cost hundreds of millions to make, why wouldn’t Sony wanna also minimize their risk and loss potential of those games when it’s clearly being proven again and again that their games do extremely well on the platform? Their next experiment is simultaneous release for their multiplayer games. It shifted from “old games only” to “MP games only” and will soon shift to “at least not on any subscription service day 1” or whatevr. They’re no longer gonna be so dogmatically hellbent on keeping everything plastic box only. Sure, a lot of the first party games will continue to release first on PS5 only, and then get their PC port, but the gap shall continue to decrease over the course of the gen, and eventually zero out imo.
lol well, I don’t think this is happening, Sony’s just doing what MS did 6 years ago. They’re not doomed out of a future in console, just late in getting out of it being their only stream. Better late than never tbh.
Do you know that Sony’s main income is not their projects?
Sony’s main earnings are 30% from a multiplatform and microtransactions from the same multiplatform.
This is literally the bulk of their revenue and profit from the gaming division.
Multiplayer projects will be released on PC on the first day, because 100% of microtransactions will go into Sony’s pocket.
Single blockbusters are the door to their console. The place where people will buy a new spiderman and also download Fortnite and tell their friends to buy the same console. For Call Of Duty. For FIFA. And other things.
Single projects are the door that generates huge money from multi-platform.
The Microsoft ecosystem is Gamepass
Therefore, they do not care where you play. The main thing is to download and pay for a subscription.
