All these confidants but Chihaya are already close to max level. I haven’t switch party members more than once for the Okumura fight though.
I also don’t like playing in new game plus, I find it too boring to just not struggle at all until I get to a certain fight in games that offer it.
Worth it for that fight alone though, it’s a complete nightmare otherwise!
I think party switching isn’t as useful seeing Joker steamrolls everything himself and technicals are broken - but handy to have when needed. The money bonus is probably Hifumi’s biggest draw now.
Oh and the waifu factor, of course.
Fair! Especially since there’s no achievement for beating the NG+ superboss.

Gameplay wise yes. But not story. Theyre just as engrossing if a bit different.

You don’t have to play the other games if you’re worried about QoL issues.
Yeah, it’s gonna be rough. Worth it as far as I’m concerned but I’m already tired of the Persona skill inheritance fusion dance.
At least with P4G you can stick with Izanagi (or basically any persona) the whole way through the game if you choose, because Shuffle Time makes any/every Persona viable.

Two playthroughs is rough, but at least it’s not Hardcore Risette Fan. And there are material differences between routes in terms of S Links, for those who are new to the game.
7th Palace and M. Shido are down! Just before I left the Palace, I had created Yamata-no-Orochi and it just took hits like a champ throughout the whole fight.
The Akechi fight, before this one was mostly annoying because he attacked after I defeated the cleaner and I didn’t bother restoring SP. I can also, see what they try to go with for the atonement of Akechi, but he really needs to turn himself in (mostly because I doubt, he died).

So, we get chocolate from everyone on the 15th no matter what? So far I have gotten Kawakami’s chocolate on the 14th. Sae, Ann, Ohya, Makoto, Sumire, Haru, Hifumi, Takemi, and Futaba on the 15th. Also no longer proud of Akechi. Edit: So just checked and got the true ending, as for the no longer proud of Akechi, it’s mostly because said ending made it look like he did live and was not taking any responsibility for his action. So
So, starting a new playthrough and decided to not go with NG+, decided to up the difficulty to max and found out that it’s just Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind style difficulty where we do less damage and take more damage. Yeah, I think I can deal with that! (I say this now, but I remember getting hit for half my health during some boss fights hahaha!)
If they are really going to do a Persona 3 Remake I am probably gonna skip P3P.
I’m planning on doing 2 playthroughs per game (maybe more) so, P3P and P3Royal, I think they should just go with the P5R naming for remakes, once it arrives on Xbox.
I thought I saw something or the other that said the remake might not have the Female MC option. Could still be worth playing through P3P for that.
Just did that Okumura palace and my god that is one of the worst boss fights I’ve ever played. I forgot how much I hated that fight
