Yeah, its kind of annoying it seems to work on “position in story” rather than “active mission” since you end up in the hub and you have no idea if the person you have joined has just finished the prior mission and is just about to log, or maybe messing with menus, or the vendors.
Matchmaking being less than perfect really stands out. Oh well. Still had fun! 
I can’t believe that is even an option, it is the worst, grossest, nauseating effect I have ever seen in a game, the fact it has an “on” switch is just mind blowing

Quick question: Do I need an Xbox Live Gold subscription if I want to play it alone (and do not have Game Pass Ultimate)?
Played around 2 hours after work, enjoying it so far! Still need to get around with the controls and how aggressive you need to be in this game.
Smal gripes I have so far:
- Constant fade to black sequences are weird and somewhat jarring;
- Lack of polish in some facial animations, hair looks weird, but not that big of a deal.
All in all, shooting and abilities are fun, enjoying the story as well.
I don’t think so. Although it is an online game, I believe it to be possible to play alone without Gold. If you do want to play with friends, you’ll then need Gold.

By the way, is it my impression or is WT3 already very challenging? I was sweating my ass off with the mini-boss battle just before that part.
Couldn’t get past the prologue without the game disconnecting. Oh well. Happy that I didn’t spend $60 on the game and will start tomorrow (hopefully).
I guess it depends on your gear. Like I was on World Tier 6 and it was a breeze, then I get to 7 and I’m getting my ass kicked.
It’s very gear and build dependent. Before the servers buckled I was working through world tier 9 easily because my gear caught up to the challenge.
Also, you don’t really need to ever go up world tiers when leveling as the expeditions are tied to a different system. World tier is solely for items gained in campaign/side quests.
