Looks like Rebel Moon’s off to a bad start critically. Whilst I thought the 1st trailer was pretty bland and derivative, the 2nd was better, and I was considering resubbing to Netflix. Think I’ll hold off a bit longer.
Snyder should stop fucking around now. Its been too long. He should get a proper producer, hire a good script writer, a cinematographer and should stick to only directing a film. He should work solely as a journeyman director who works with Christopher Mcquarrie or Aaron Sorkin type writers, and make things look good.
Somewhere, probably the discord, I saw they were deleting favorable user reviews for Rebel Moon. I don’t follow RT enough to know if that’s a usual behavior or not. I assume they’re like all the other review places that don’t give a rats ass about score integrity or review bombs. If so, it’s weird that they’d react on this one when it’s positive reviews.
They have started deleting accounts that were giving rebel moon 5 stars or 1 star but had no previous review history. Happens every time a film with a big fandom gets a bad critics score. This is why the industry does not give any importance to RT audience score or IMDB.
an example for the kind of reviews they deleted : https://x.com/KangoKyobi/status/1735846902472581513?s=20
Christmas Bloody Christmas, Better watch out, Inside, A Christmas horror Story, Hosts, The retaliators. All Christmas horror movies as per Rotten Tomatoes, I wasn’t gonna watch some cringey Christmas movies so this was a great alternative.
Currently watching something more light hearted, The Nightmare before Christmas.
Personally I can’t wait for these days to be over again. It is what it is.
Interstellar is my X mas go to movie.
My family always watches Elf over the holidays.
Elf is always a good time.
Just finished up Echo, with the a Mrs. Really enjoyed it. Mostly avoided the normal Marvel TV show formula and is a great reworking of the character.
Surprised they’re skipping a unit, “28 Months Later”.
I binged all five episodes last night; haven’t cared about Marvel anything for a while and this show is easily one of the best stories they every put on the small screen. I have so many words to share about how much I love this show, and why. I’d recommend to everyone, loved every second.
Well to be fair, it’s much closer to 28 Years Later than months since the first came out
The new season of Fargo is pretty good. It stars Jon Hamm and Juno Temple. All of the characters are really well done.
sadly I dont think this is an actual thing yet or is not happening for a long time. This is Paramount pulling the same trick MGM pulled, by announcing a bunch of films with big IPs shortly before an auction to increase their buyout price.
Aaah, I see. That is good to know!
