I was glad to see that, but I’m still a bit bummed as I was getting 100 a day from pc and 60/ day for jewel plus the others. But that’s how it goes…

That actually annoyed me lol. I was getting 500 for that the past 2 months. 250 + 250 for Ultimate bonus. Hopefully this current 250 + 25 bonus is actually an increasing streak bonus or something.
The nerfs to the daily PC and Jewel in the app are bleh. I will likely never play jewel ever again.
If they were smart they’d switch it with Candy Crush but up the rewards to encourage people to play it everyday and lure them in with how addictive it can be and buy MTX

Has Microsoft done search give aways before? Because I just got an email from the rewards program saying I won 3 months of Spotify premium for searching over 3 days. I also never joined any of the sweepstakes they had on offer.
My sisters account received the same email. I did not recieve said email. However, my account had redeemed free spotify 3 months code multiple times in the past from Rewards, like from 4 years ago.

I got this too. But the code only works for an individual premium account, I have a family account. 
Yeah, same. We also found that most gift cards for Spotify only work for individuals, we had to end our family, apply it to an individual, and then redo the family to get the gift card to work. Super irritating cause it doesn’t say that anywhere before you buy it.

I am getting less points, but I am relieved due to being able to earn points by playing games. I’ve been able to get the 1000pts/monthly quest, and other quests does not seem too bad.
Kind of off topic. Does anyone know what the cheapest way to extend an active GPU subscription? I’m Canadian if that makes much of a difference.
I usually buy three months at a time on CDkeys. Works out about £23.99 GBP for the 3 months so cheaper than the RRP
Are limiting searches now? The first few searches seem to work with a small throttle in between (like 7-10s), but after half a dozen or so they stop giving points.
Something seems weird, it is working for me now, but felt off the last three(?) days like it was capping it.
I think I saw something that they limit it to 3-4 searches in 15 minutes (possibly also first 3-4 searches per day don’t count) and then you have to wait to get more. It’s a bit annoying.
Welcome to two to three months ago.
The way the limiter works is the first searches of the day need to be at least 6 seconds apart and the reward points doesnt increment until the third search. You would see a big +15 point increment. The fourth search woud give the typical +5 points (+20 points total). Then you would have to wait at least 15 minutes until the next 4 searches count again (+20 points again).
It may not be how you’re searching but the time you’re searching.
Where some are being hit with the timeout limiters, I am seeing it completely removed during most hours of the day on my main account. Try shifting when you’re searching and try not doing the lazy click the next item in the series search but typing a new search phrase.
