So if we get Ubisoft+ or whatever it’s called on Xbox- I’d only care about 2 studios for AAA games and the are SquareSoft and(sadly) EA.

There definitely is a tendency for ppl to see PSX owners as if they are all as devoted to the brand as the loud fanboys online. This is why I think all the weird chatter wrt Game Pass on PS5 is so dumb. MS doesn’t have much use for that imho. They can target those PSX gamers in a LOT of other ways and find success as the vast majority of PSX users are not all that anchored to the platform. Many of them went from PS2–>360 and then from 360 to PS4. Anecdotally I am seeing lots of ppl share stories about how their friends are now looking to get Xbox instead of PSX due to knowing CoD will be best on Xbox going forward.

Netflix doesn’t have the money to compete with MS and they also totally lack clout and understading of gaming. It’s a non-issue, they are even worse positioned than Google or Amazon, which lack clout and understading, but have the money. As usual the real threats outside Sony are Tencent and Meta.

I would argue that Netflix DOESN’T have the money. Their revenue is solid, their net income is generally pretty low.
