Have to say that while I expected something had been worked out or discussed with the CMA prior to choosing to fight the FTC I’m also surprised at the speed.
If this really does close before the 18th, I wonder how long it will be until

It’s like poetry, they rhyme.
Its great, I was playing Stellaris on Xbox but on Steam/GeForceNow the content is 9 months ahead. When MS announced the cloud deal with Geforce Now, the sub on Reddit went bonkers that day. 
And if/when they get PC Game Pass content on there, GPU is gonna be bonkers value for money.

I was thinking we would get some defiant statement that they won’t change their mind no matter what.

Someone with a brain at the FTC should stop an appeal attempt on this thing to save further humiliation in court. Her ruling did not open any credible doors on the theories of harm, was very clear about her opinion that consumers would benefit, and she explicitly cited the fact that this was a vertical merger. No appeals court is giving the FTC quarter here.

Good news that this all can move forward, hopefully completion is now on the horizon. So the question i have is now that Sony turned down all the MS offers of long term contracts how do they sit with COD, if MS can complete now then surely they dont actually need to offer Sony anything? Which would be hilarious, obviously.
