I know that’s WB, but please allow this singular exception for a perfect opportunity

Might be a bit young for some of you but this hits so well for me.

The King said hold the line and we held it.

And to be fair, Mortal Kombat is apt, because they should totally snag NRS too.

Hopefully the CMA have folded like a pack of cards and aren’t playing silly games.

The fact they acted this quickly they know they’re screwed, I just hope MS don’t be silly when going back and forth over things.

I’m looking forward to fritangas comments on the Sony only people. Might have spelt his name wrong.

Is it just me that can’t believe what’s happening and gone numb.

its been a hell of a ride but from day 1, I always knew this deal was going to get done at some point. There was no way MS was going to let this deal collapse, this is a once in a generation deal.

Microsoft now owns the biggest games in the industry.

A real cope response :joy:

I remember that Sony hired antitrust lawyers for PlayStation almost a year ago, and we still have no idea what they could be working on. Jim Ryan said in email that they don’t have to worry about it and that there’s something exciting cooking up.

I wonder if they’re waiting to see if it can pass regulations. Since ABK is more likely to close, they probably would go for a bigger fish.

I…is it finally over?

Did I expect the PI to be denied? Yes.

Did I expect the CMA look for settlement at the sp eed of light after it? Hell NO.

As a Xbox gamer, I’m happy.

As a GeforceNow gamer, I’m happy.

As a MS shareholder, I’m happy.

The FTC’s case was laughable, at best. Glad to see facts and logic win the day instead of ā€˜bIG TeCH BAd!!!’. The Judge was more serious about protecting the customer than the actual regulators. Still, amazing to see the CMA fold like a cheap suit so soon.
