The best path forward for Microsoft in terms of precedent may well be the European Commission blocking this deal. Thats a better precedent to walk away from than the UK coming forward with these unfounded claims. It would also be a quick out. That would signify that it takes all regulatory bodies coming together to block instead of 1 rogue regulator.
ms will not give up because of one regulator
I understand that, but they may lose which would set a precedent that prevents future acquisitions ue to bullshit nascent markets.
