Nobody else seems to be against this now. MS has managed to convince almost everybody that this deal should happen.
The fear is that the CMA will still listen to him and his nonsense.

Sony already has a parity contract with anyone who wants to make a game for PlayStation. You can’t artificially make the PlayStation version inferior.
In fact, I think this was the reason why some indie developers had to choose between Xbox One and PS4. Xbox wanted the game to be released on Xbox first. PlayStation wanted best version.

The statement about MS pushing innovation the most over the last two decades (compared to Sony at least) is absolutely spot on. Barring a few gimmicks on a controller almost nobody uses, Sony has sat idly in their market position whereas MS has constantly been either changing paradigms or injecting major QoL systems to their hardware and OS (BC says hello).
