Yes, facebook is gaining ground in VR with quest2, Microsoft having such vast and great first party will give them leverage from angles that are not so apparent, then next 10-20yrs is going to be so crazy for the tech/games/computing industry because of new emerging technologies (cloud, A.I, Vr + Ar)

Game Industry is effectively going to be ruined in the next couple of years. There will be no third party publishers by the time this is finished, and I’m not talking about Sony’s retaliation. I’m talking about Epic, Amazon, etc …
This is great for MS, but simply terrible for gaming in general. It won’t stop here, as the only third parties that won’t be snapped up are the likes of EA or Take 2. If From, Sega, Capcom, and Square Enix are snapped up by Sony or another group that won’t put games on Xbox I bet most here won’t be celebrating very long …
I truly hate this. I hate any large publisher being picked up by a platform holder. Developers are one thing, but publishers are a different matter
It’s an exclusivity play not just for Xbox but for Xbox, PC, Game Pass, Xcloud Etc…
Basically it’s an exclusivity play for their entire ecosystem.

I expect many to be multiplat but not all. I could see Starfall being console exclusive but ES, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Doom. I see those as multiplat.
This purchase was ALL about Game Pass, everything else is a bonus.
I expect growth to be significant now. Some still don’t realise how much momentum GP will have going forward.
