Sony make money? Weird logic. I mean sure, investment, but nothing like Xbox porting games or Minecraft itself.
Poor showing, looking for £75 a game is far too much for what Nintendo is offering and Nintendo chat is something from the 360 days
It is the same stupid logic that team green uses when they say “porting games to the PS5 just means more development money for our games!”
Even if it ends up being true - It is ultimately flawed and quite dumb and reeks of desperation at regretful purchases.
From Soft making a Switch exclusive that is Bloodbourne, right after Sony bought part of the company, seems like a huge middle finger right at Sony though.
Fanboy console wars are back on baby!
I’m seeing quite a lot of people on Neogaf and such saying that Nintendo can just buzz off.
Talk is cheap and will these folks go out and preorder it immediately, or will they vote with their wallet?
The former wouldn’t shock me. Real Nintendo fans don’t mind paying a lot of money, or often.
I saw a post that said they wouldn’t mind paying $80 for MKW and then got flooded with replies. I don’t even know which is worse.
Legit wonder who will spend money on that Welcome Tour.
Im going to get one. But it comes with the caveat that Im not going to go out of my way effort wise to secure one. If I can land one with minimal effort, sure, okay. Otherwise, Ill just get one when I get one.
What’s the point of this game key card instead of a code in the box? I guess people really love their plastics…
What also sucks when it comes to Nintendo is that their games just never truly drop in price. For example I’d love to replay Breath of the Wild and also play Tears of the Kingdom for the first time. It would be nice to get them for a nice price and upgrade when it’s available, but yeah, I bet these games are still at full price.
Plus, do we know the upgrade pack price?
I’m seriously looking forward to seeing whether fanboy accounts like DoesItPlay go to defcon 1 over this, or try to downplay it because it’s not bad guy Microsoft doing the thing they don’t like.
I believe SF6 was 60 on PS/X at release. Over 70 now. Even with the characters that weren’t on release on the older game that isn’t cool.
I wish the old games were enhanced by raw power, especially the loading time.
Pretty clever of Nintendo to hold the bad and blowback news off the show. The price, the list of games not working, etc is all afterward. That way the stream reaction towards solely on the show is more positive than anything.

Please Game Pass. Be savage about the price tag soon.

Amazing how they can fit 64 GB but with other games with like 11 GB, that’s too difficult.
i think this was a nice presentation with lots of promising games. But holy inflation, Batman! Nintendo really want to milk their fans of physical games. Payed upgrades or paying for the manual is a big no no for me.
Lets see if this takes off like the Switch or they have to lower prices like with the 3DS.
I think it was inevitable that a fall off from swtich would happen no matter what. The novelty of it doesnt exist anymore, and now you are trying to sell people a new thing that almost entirely looks the same as the one people already have.
I was honestly expexting a much more distinct improvement in visuals. While I dont think it will be Wii-U’d because its confusing, it might stumble to a degree because it isnt terribly compelling.
Going to get the Mario Kart bundle, donkey Kong, and Welcome Tour. My kid is autistic will enjoy going through welcome tour, I’m sure of it.
