Missed opportunity to not use the Halo theme song for the Halo TV show trailer. So weird hearing Phil Collinsâ song instead. Halo games have A M A Z I N G songs smh.
I love Halo, I love Chief. Yes they massacred my girl and yes this looks⌠eh⌠but Iâm still gonna watch it. Hope itâs better than what they showed here. Weird seeing an AK being used in Halo, a futuristic scifi.
One day I hope we get a proper Halo movie/trilogy made by industry legends. Halo deserves it imo.

Good trailer, I really liked it. Didnât love that Cortana apparently just looks like a normal human? Seems like a miss. Other than that though, great stuff.

I donât get comments I see of the show looking âcheapâ looks far better than I was expecting from this. As good as the Neil Blomkamp stuff, nah. But it doesnât look like a WB show either.
Cortana definitely looked off. Of all the characters in Halo she should be the easiest to get right. Kudos to people here though for not jumping on anyone who dares not like Cortanaâs look and accusing them of not liking it because sheâs not "naked " like certain other places. Especially when in the last game she looked like this.

I enjoyed the trailer they showed during the football game and then went to YouTube for the extended trailer. It all looks good to me, I have me expectations in check and will certainly be there when it debuts. I really donât mind them changing the lore up for the show and I certainly appreciate the prime promotional effort given during the game, thatâs a lot of eye balls on the trailer.
As long as the show is fun then I will enjoy it, using the game as a starting point for the show is fine. Just give me lots of great action and a season line storyline and Iâll be fine.
Yeah, I think that a blue CGI hologram Cortana wouldnât fit well with the show. It works for the games but I think that making one main character of a live action show a blue hologram would be weird.

Originally was gonna be the halsey actress, but then Covid and scheduling, so Jen Taylor stepped up. Awesome result.

Some of it looks good and other parts not at all.
Seriously how hard was it to make Cortana look like Cortana?
I also donât like that a human is working with the Covenant. It would work if the Flood was controlling her, but that doesnât seem like it is the case.
I also donât like how it looks like the government doesnât like Master Chief, when in this part of time everyone loves him.
I also donât like how it sounds like humans already know about Halo and humans didnât know how them until after the fall of Reach.
I think it would have been better if this show just took place in the Halo universe and told other character stories over from what it looks like, with picking different parts of the game, then putting it all in the first season.
Also Phil Collins is good and all, but Martin OâDonnellâs Halo score should have been in the trailer not a song from Phil.
