Data mining always happens with demos and betas.

Why would there be story stuff that’s weird, is it names or files or something. This is one of the bad things about PC releases, data mining and hackers.
My take is that any story stuff in there is subject to huge change in the final release.
At first I agreed with you. But I’m starting to like that hitting shots is harder. Tired of everyone having god aim.
I don’t have access to this Technical Preview. Could somebody tell me if there is splash screen when we boot up the game? Some nice animation with 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios logo or actually nothing yet with that?
nope nothing rn. Just a black screen with three moving dots in the top left and then you’re in the press any button screen to go into the main menu
But the final game will most certainly have a splash screen
Has anyone come across this icon? Not sure what it is.
For some reason the PC gameplay footages (even with RTX 3090) do not look as smooth as Series X|S gameplay.

By the way, this game doesn’t have any aim assist with controller, I think. Or I don’t notice it.
Piece of advice to all players once you go up against real people.
NEVER EVER SPRINT.
One it lowers your gun, and two the benefit of running faster is so minor. But most importantly you only show up on radar when either sprinting or shooting your gun. Walking, sliding and jumping does not make you show on radar.
If you want to be good, get in the habit of not sprinting even against bots.

Yeah it really only seems worthwhile when you’re running for your life. Best part is how normal movement doesn’t trigger the radar anymore, meaning there will be way less radar whoring.
I would say they should just take it out if walking and jumping don’t show up on radar.
Yes, it can do 120 FPS.
That jives with what the video by ElAnalistaDeBits said. They said it was 120 FPS so maybe it’s always targeting 120 FPS no matter what right now.

I’m ok with it, it’s slow enough where it doesn’t ruin map design and spring is ingrained in people’s brains nowadays so you need it.
I meant they should take out radar if I can walk and jump and still not show up on it.
I’m actually very happy with sprint. This is how sprint should be. Situational. Not sprint around the entire map all day every day. It’s not game breaking.
Would love radar removed too. Both sprint and radar are just things I feel like they have to leave in for a group of people but I’m not a fan of either. Like how it’s being handled now though.
You have to sprint to slide though, and sliding has a real speed booster to get you out of a tricky situation
Ok. Sprinting is fine to do when your trying to pick up weapon, chase someone down, or get away from someone. Otherwise it isn’t smart to do.
The slide jump feels nice too, they clearly wanted to make it maintain momentum. The covenant shotgun is really fun to run and gun with (and this is coming from a 24/7 BR guy).
