I mean she attacked him to signal that he’s in the way of what she wants (that is to release the endless, something chief is there to prevent), which is consistent with her believing chief and humanity aren’t really the enemy for her, it was Forerunners who were.
Yeah I’m sure blowing up The Harbinger didn’t give Humanity any brownie points with the Endless when the wake-up.
Imagine waking up from a long nap only to find out your leader and the one who woke you up was straight up dead-ass murdered by the favorite pet of your #1 enemy.

seems that in the future we have possibly 3-4 enemy factions banished, endless, flood, (maybe) the sentinels as well theres also prometheans if they ever return

Considering there was a lot of stuff cut out of campaign during development, there may have been Flood stuff at one point.
ALOT was cut from HI Campaign going by what we know.
Sentinels as an enemy faction? I don’t know, they’re way too sparse and unexplored as an enemy type still to be considered as a whole faction yet. Also using Sentinels as allies against The Endless is more of a thing I would love to see.
Halo Infinite is more like Halo 1/3rd
yea 2/3rds which is bonkers considering how much we still have in the campaign i see that cut stuff coming back through DLC over time
i aint even gon lie, I think the first one or two DLCs should be free for base game owners. And the subsequent ones on gamepass day 1.
Considering the amount of cut content and how it was planned, it makes me hopeful for more campaign DLC sooner rather than later, but it depends on the scope I guess.
If it’s Halo Infinite ODST i could see it coming faster than if there amibition now is to make a Halo 7 full campaign.
i agree i personally think 8th gen should be left behind when it comes to DLC now that Xcloud is on the consoles now

Uh, that’s not true at all. Go watch Halo 3 terminal lore videos, this was always the plan overall. Hell, go watch the legendary Halo 3 ending as well.

I think stuff will be crossgen for a few more years, so I’m not expecting the first two DLCs to be current gen only. Maybe 2024 onwards is when we could expect that. Maybe the second DLC is possible.
