I just hope Remedy unlocks the framerate. The overhead is clearly there. Combined with the Series Xās VRR and we have a clear performance advantage.
I just fear they wonāt have the guts for parityās sake. Donāt want to upset a certain fanbase. A shame really.

This just probably a last request to cash in on the IP from the publisher and call it a day. Remedy has Crossfire X and those Epic funded games to worry about.

Yes thatās always going to be the secret trump card but lets see how effective DirectML is. If it is anything closer to DLSS 2.0 or between 1.0-2.0, we are going to have some crazy looking and performing games. As pretty much they can render at 1080p or 1440p and upscale it saving so much or rendering load

The Control Photo mode test is really good because in a game where the actual in game performance is identical between the two systems we see there is an overhead on Xbox. And we also see, potentially why it isnāt used - because the overhead is not consistent and often very small. A consistent 20% overhead would allow you to do something but a 3-36% overhead or whatever makes it virtually impossible. This also shows probably that there are scenarios where the PS5 higher clocks do work to close the gap (or something on the PS5 side is better optimised in the render pathway).
Its very interesting though because one assumes the Xbox performance issues are lessening given its clearly performing better in this quite intensive GPU render with RT than PS5.

Well, maybe Iāll ever get to play it with the patch. I havenāt properly started playing the game yet. My hope is that the UE becomes very cheap sometime this year in a sale, if not, Iāll just finish the game before it leaves GP without the patch.
Iām so not going to pay the full amount for just this patch, something that really should have been free.
I think @Zappy5 is referring to blue on twitter maybe. They areā¦not reliable to say the least.
Suggesting that press outlets and their coverage isnāt swayed by engagement metrics is the polar opposite of āconspiracy theoriesā. Itās the norm in essentially all press industries. Iām not here to belabor it but framing me as a conspiracy theorist isnāt helpful either. 
The Enanalista (or whatever theyāre channel is called) on YT who provided the video does solid work with really good side by sides. The blue (whatever their twitter handle is) is really all over the place with their twitter claims. Almost MisterX kinda stuff at times. It can be way beyond bad pixel counting sometimes.

You should make a topic about it so it can be discussed there instead of it filtering into other threads then. You want to express how you wish they mentioned Xbox in the video, fine. Thinking that picking out a few videos as if it proves anything other than the fact that we donāt know how their production schedules or resources, and pushing that as a trend or agenda is not fine. You can have your assumptions, but that doesnāt mean the thread has to be sidetracked because of them. And yes, when we donāt know things about a subject but make up theories to justify some things, that is a form of conspiracy theory. We honestly donāt know how every decision is made in these videos. I can speak from experience that they are extremely involved and time consuming. So Iād much rather err on the side of caution, not assume there is any agenda at hand, because very few people care about how videos like that are titled. We want this place to be welcoming to all people, in and out of the press and/or industry. This type of rhetoric does the complete opposite.
