Sorry I updated the photo. There are details missing from the RT reflection on the Series X in a shot.
With unlocked fps Sx achieves up to 36% higher fps than Ps5 in like for like scenes.
In fact, except for the most demanding area in the game SX stays fairly often in higher than 50fps, which would make it ideal for a 60fps with VRR.
In other words no criticism of DF allowedâŚk.
Moreso on topic: Your pic looks like the BVH in the Xbox version has a simplified model sans the detail texture. I couldnât find any other scenes in the DF video with textured text reflecting (it wasnât in the scene on either platform) so am curious if that is common. You should go check with the game yourself Mike!
PS5 uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being approximately 3072x1728 and the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080. On PS5 native resolution pixel counts seem to often be between approximately 2400x1350 and 1920x1080. On PS5 there is a form of temporal reconstruction used that can increase the resolution up to 3840x2160. Xbox Series X uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 2816x1584. On Xbox Series X native resolution pixel counts seem to often be between approximately 3840x2160 and 3200x1800. On Xbox Series X there is a form of temporal reconstruction used to increase the resolution up to 3840x2160 when rendering natively below this resolution. Xbox Series S uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 1600x900. On Xbox Series S native resolution pixel counts at 1920x1080 seem to be common. On Xbox Series S there is a form of temporal reconstruction used to increase the resolution up to 1920x1080 when rendering natively below this resolution. The PS5 is missing screen space reflections which are present on both Xbox consoles. The frame rate can be inconsistent on both Xbox consoles with the frame rate sometimes dropping into the forties or fifties during scenes that previously ran at 60fps http://bit.ly/2YPi44Qâ This issue wasnât encountered on PS5.
No, I said you can criticize them. You wish they mention Xbox in a video for whatever reason, express that. Letâs try to cool it on talks of motive, agendas, or whatever though. Chasing stats and metrics should be a topic in itself and not spread throughout every thread people find something they donât like.
Fair enough.
Do you have Control UE to find spots with text that should be reflected? I might get it and do some searching if my old normal version save works with it.
TL:DW?
Does this go on @ElPutoXD list?
I own The Division 2 for PS4/PS4 Pro but since that console is long gone and I donât know when exactly I will be buying a PlayStation 5, im leaning towards buying the ultimate/complete edition for The Division 2 on Xbox. Oh man. Decisions, decisions.
Lmaooo
Clearly. Itâs running at a much higher resolution on Series X. Typical range for Series X is between 3840x2160 and 3200x1800. Typical range for PS5 is between 2400Ă1350 and 1920x1080. Thatâs by far the biggest differential weâve seen so far and much bigger than you would expect.
I canât even imagine the shit they are going through right now.
It gets bad everytime a video or article drops.
Cool
Theyâre not at the same distance, PS5 is a little bit closer. But it may just be different textures in use and not some odd distance cutoff.
I wish all games would offer uncapped fps modes. With VRR it can work great it can also give games instant upgrades if new hardware comes out.
Yeah I got it. Noticed the same dips when a piece of text would splash up on the screen or other odd spikes when a camera would cut from a cut-scene or something. It appears to be something so minor causing it that it should be addressable. Still I wonder what may cause something like that.
Really would love to play Control UE DLC but I just dont want to replay the game at all. Shame save transfers got confirmed to not work after I bought the game.
Perfect.
This is a BC patch like the current gen cyberpunk one.
I wonder how the PS5 would do if it was not shackled to PS4 pro settings?
Shame you canât just play the expansions individually.
