Launching with out games is fine as long as you have a big game coming in the pipe line. What xbox needs right now is a halo release date in spring

- New hardware features which work very well 99% of the time
- Great service with gamepass (now with ea play
- Great marketing campaign
- Clear messaging
Yes, there are some negetives , but compared to the competition and the xbox one its very good.

Xbox One X came one year after PS4 pro, PS3 came one year after Xbox 360, Switch came in 2017. Launching the same year with the competition is unnecessary. Clearly they are not prepared for this launch.
I think the series s reached OOF moment Series S as low as 570p lol just drop 120hz support on series S if the system canât handle it

Ps3 coming a year after xbox 360 was one of sonys worst decisions. That and higher price. Switch is its own market and nintendo can drop a console at anytime and it will sell. The name of the game right now is ecosystem and if you give sony a advantage like releasing later then you lose out on getting people into your ecosystem. Thatâs the whole point of series S.
Every thing is fantastic. Crackdown 3 is game of the generation.

Xbox One X/PS4 Pro were refreshes that barely if at all surpassed 10m console sales for each. These donât even count. Xbox One X only had Forza Motorsport 7 by the way so not exactly a great lineup with that console but again, doesnât really count no matter how you look at it.
PS3 surpassed 360 in sales by about 3m but had a horrible start because of various reasons. Difference is that Sony was at an all time high with PS2. Xbox One was not PS2 and no way Microsoft would have been able to delay the console a year.
Plus, that would have pissed off every third party publisher. As for Switch, itâs a hybrid console meant for Nintendo fans. Itâs not meant for gamers who care about tech and want more advanced stuff. If it wasnât a hybrid and just a console, it would have bombed. Nintendo basically took the ide they had with Wii U but made it superior in every way.
The negatives right now are minor for Xbox and no one will remember the negatives in a year from now. Sony is having more hardware failures than Microsoft and this is the biggest issue because it doesnât matter what exclusives you have if people canât play them due to their console bricking.
Xbox is already doing their best since the halfway point of Xbox 360. Xbox will be just fine.

I hope everyone can take a deep breath. We are analyzing differences most people didnât know existed until freeze frames of launch games. Itâs obvious thereâs not going to be a clean sweep on head to head comparisons this gen. Even beyond launch tools, these systems have more bespoke differences and itâs up to dev prioritizations when making games that target so many platforms and configurations. Just because one ecosystem is doing it better in a launch window, doesnât make the other ecosystem a disaster. I doubt anyone here made their console purchases based on what they though would happen over the course of a few months. Itâs a long gen that just got started. Please donât start hyperventilating and getting snippy with each other already.

Outside of hardware failure issues, I donât see a major negative on either console because any issues will be patched so it doesnât matter. People acting like a console launch is the same thing as if when the consoles are in year 5 or something.
Microsoft has nothing to worry about with Xbox Series X/S. Again, they will be just fine.
