Double dog dare you to say that on Twitter
This is actually one game that Xbox team worked closely with CDPR on as they are finalizing the sdk. I think we can expect a lot of surprises from the performance of Series S and X next year
Cyberpunk is one of the most fascinating game Iāve played in years.
And Performance mode post today patch on Series X is clearer and smoother I believe, itās so good to play Cyberpunk 2077 on 60 FPS.
OK quality mode is sublime, but I would never trade off 60 FPS.
Not really. Does XSS have 60fps at the moment?
I think I may just wait for the next gen patch, Iāll will be playing the seriesX version regardless of looks or performance because I dont have a PS5 yet. The next gen versions are going to be the real test.hurry up cdproject.
CDPR take all the time you need while the GDK kinks are worked outā¦
I want the best possible version making nearly full use of the hardware but we donāt know how long we will be on this earth.
Weird that The PS5 version just looks sharper in the first pic but seriesX looks a bit sharper in the second, in the outdoor day time scenes I eould say the PS5 version looks sharper, might be different dynamic lighting though.
Weird how NXgamer says the seriesX in is higher res then the PS5 version, df said the opposite
It hits a higher resolution right now and there will be a boost in frames per second with a patch.
Yeah. So it looks better right now but i wouldnāt call that āoutperformsā. There is no context to quality mode as that doesnāt exist on ps5. Series S definitely seems extremely promising having seen this, Iām sure after the patch, 60fps is possible and even an RT mode.
That first picture canāt be right. Itās a huge difference between the two. Is it just inconsistent or is this the lighting making the difference? In terms of sharpness the right image looks much better. Canāt be right when DF showed the exact opposite.
I have seen this happening in many other comparision videos.
Sometimes PS5 looks higher resolution with better colors.
And sometime, xsx have sharper image when compared to PS5.
I assume that game is still struggling because of lack of proper optimisation and is not delivering full potential of either of the consoles.
So much so that, both performance and resolution may not be remaining same on every run across different units of either console.
Let the patches come, more work is need in this game. And we have next gen upgrade also on the horizon
Hmmm I see. I guess Cyberpunk was the one game I kinda didnāt expect that to happen since a MS team went to Poland to help CDPR out with the porting process and everything.
This has nothing at all to do with resolution. Itās simply the very aggressive TAA system smudging images with heavy reflections. Note the lighting difference. Said smudges were reduced in latest patch on all systems.
Cyberpunk is far and away better on the SX than the PS5.
Ooooh, my bad then. It makes sense what you say, since the resolution overall is just significantly higher on XSX. Itās good to see patches really making a change. Around the time I play it, itās probably gonna be even better.
Lighting effects how the game looks, in the first pic the sun is shinning at different things, the stall has sun shine on the xsx version and the ps5 version does not, things look blurrier in direct sunlight in this game, i dont know why the colours are more vivid on ps5, but i have stopped worrying about it because contrast can change for many little silly reasons, when its on the tv playing from the console it likely wont matter as people will adjust brightness levels in game or maybe on there tv.
Wow
XSX is just the best version, itās look like itās not the same game
Why the hell do they say things like that? Shame on them it was unnecessary. Thought they were neutral? Why throwing a bs theory in a technical analysis?
Itās actually amazing that DF makes shit up like this. They used to be entirely unbiased but all of a sudden they have an agenda towards Xbox.
I bet if the crowd density was higher in PS5, they would be praising the consoles performance.
