Quality mode at 30FPS is a night and day difference between performance mode.

1800P 30FPS with Extra Graphics on Quality Mode is a night-and-day difference on Series X it looks like.
Resolution, graphics quality, crowd size. Itās practically a different game.
This is one game where there is NO benefit to Performance mode just given the differences. This isnāt an AC Valhalla situation where itās MAYBE better grass and slightly larger DOF, itās a completely different transformation at 30FPS Quality.

Yeah even performance mode looks better on series x. Seems to take the one X settings where PS5 takes the PS4.
Also, series S is using series Xās quality mode settings.
So Series X Quality Mode is the best place to it graphically that seems more inline with PC.
Quality mode it is.
Series X quality mode > Series S > Series X performance > PS5.
On next gen consoles, right now the PS5 is literally the worst place to play.

Already preloaded wanting for Santa to squeeze his ass down the chimney on December 24th to deliver my copy.
Being able to preload games you donāt own is a huge game changer for me.
Itās a better performance on PS5 with lesser graphical settings.
Xbox Series X performance mode has better graphical settings than PS5 but lesser resolution and slight framerate drops.

Better performance but the game is gimped hard on PS5. Low crowd density, fewer cars no SSAOā¦no way is that the way to play on these consoles if you have a choice. Itās bottom of the pile here.

Good to see that CDPR went the extra mile. This just once again shows what we always known and thatās One X is much better, nothing new there. But are there any GDK features in this or is that all for next year?
Watching the video now, I wouldnāt even want to play on Performance mode.
Quality mode looks SO much better with resolution, population/traffic density, AO, everything.
It looks SO GOOD.
Itās too bad performance is only 1080p. Witcher 3 at 60fps with dynamic is beautiful.
When I get the game Iāll most definitely go for the quality mode. Did DF turn all the graphics options off too?
It does. Traffic density and SSAO, and tons of more features. This is why itās not like for like. XSX Performance has more bells and whistles than PS5 with some quirks with hitching for some reason, and some more framerate drops. So itās a tradeoff, better graphics at 60FPS with drops, vs stable 60FPS with worse graphics.
Basically John recommended that if you want the best looking version of CP2077 on console, go for Series X Quality Mode.

That explains why the seriesX is performing worse in performance mode. Has anyone else noticed that the PS5 version seems to have more vivid colours and deeper blacks? Maybe its just a brightness setting? It could be time of day but i have noticed it quite consistently.
Well they also recommend turning off Chromatic Abrasion and Film Grain, so maybe try turning those off as well.
After watching the video, itās gotta be Quality mode. Nothing else will compare.
I donāt think Iāve been playing anything that is truly ā60FPSā since Call of Duty, so Iām okay with 30FPS. Watch_Cheems, Valhalla Quality, Cyberpunk Quality = Stable graphic goodness.
