I’m sure that went over fine with the many fine, level headed folks on Twitter.

Yup, but tell that to many folks on Twitter and in YouTube comment sections. They are constantly in denial.

Well the next stage is anger so it’s proceeding normally I guess, still it’s a long road to acceptance. :stuck_out_tongue:

He didn’t. The article makes it sound absolute across DF when he was sharing a look back at the videos he’s made over the past few years and he only like 20 were platform comparisons. 8 of which were XSX favored at publication (and tbf even the PS5 favored ones like Dirt 5 have been evened out at least. Could be the same for XSX favored ones).

Excellent presentation for anyone interested in how programming for a GPU looks.

Starting to feel like the sweet spot for playing games has become 6 or so months after release. At least in today’s environment.

Yes, absolutely!

Starfield for example. We have our doubts it will be 4K/60fps, so maybe a 40hz option would be a real nice middle ground.

Why?

40 evenly divided into 120, and has the benefit of being an increase in performance, but still having relatively low input latency. On a modern tv with VRR, it helps a lot.

You are really asking why? It is great on VRR monitors actually. Equally good in quality settings and much smoother in FPS

Everyone should wait for PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium entry, this way the game should hopefully be patched up by then. No sense to be paying beta-testers.

But isn’t that what VRS tier 2 is for?

What?

VRS is not related to frame rate
