They corrected the gamma? So cutscenes with HDR10 should not have that black level raise anymore either?
The guy in the video recommends DV over HDR10 now, more details are visible with it he says. But since DV for many other games isn’t any better or actually worse than HDR10 I might stick with the latter, the constant changing is annoying.
If I’m happy with a product, why should I care what other people think? What next… returning a car, paying back a holiday because others aren’t happy, despite it being ‘for me’ the best car or holiday ? Like you ‘blindly’ defend DF. Get this… I had no issues or problems with Halo other than not being able to replay missions and if you started a new game, you lost your save.
The Coalition for example are on record saying the DF vids on Gears 5 helped them in the post launch patch updates.
Those “little issues or FPS hiccups” being pointed out are actually valuable to the devs themselves more than it is for us plebians.
Not defaulting to the tired bullshit about DF being biased is not blindly defending them. Having the understanding, maturity, and experience to recognize the challenges they face in their work is not blindly defending them. Keeping this topic about the tech and not your narrow minded grievances is not blindly defending them.
