That’s good to know, and even if they do end up having a rocky start it will sort itself out, it always does. I don’t recall too many issues like these at launch with FH4? Not sure.
Yes, thankfully we have solo mode. Just like in FH4 we can just choose to be in there, right? So say for example Tuesday it’s not too great with lots of disconnecting, we can just stay in solo mode and it won’t keep trying to reconnect? Because from what I understand is that once you’re disconnected it won’t be able to retrieve the drivatar data, resulting in a very empty FH5.
It’s been a while since I played FH4 but didn’t that have NPC cars as well? But apparently that kind of traffic is low in 5. Maybe I’m the only one with this but in the future for FH games I’d love to see more traffic, not necessarily cars, but also some people walking around in the city, maybe have a tractor working the fields, maybe a plane here and there in the sky, things like that. Things to make the world feel even more alive.
There was one review I believe that mentioned wildlife, have you seen this?
What people don’t understand, it’s never really the amount of people joining day 1 like yeah that can effect it but the server capacity is so much better now compared to back in the day. People don’t understand that it could be such a small and simple thing, like a handshake issue with connecting to the server for account checks. There is so many things that can go wrong with a game launch networking wise that it’s hardly down to just the sheer number of people joining at once.
Yeah, I saw dogs (!), chickens and donkeys with the drone and in the wild !!
Solo mode is just the offline mode with drivatars and limited server data exchange like scoreboards, ect, in my understanding. That’s not as fun as encountering people crahsing on rocks or doing sick jumps, but hey, at least it works. For now, it’s fine. The only weird thing is that my game says it can’t retrieve current Forzathon datas, so I have a temporary one I think.

There are lots of different wildlife. I saw flamingos at the waterfall. In the rural parts there are donkeys and chicken. i even managed to drive over a donkey when i cornered it in its pen.
This is the cool stuff of Twitter. Sadly I see many sad individuals too, who actually zoom in to like 300% on a screenshot and then say it’s trash. Or trying their hardest to convince people it’s a big downgrade compared to E3 reveal when the images in question actually show a upgrade, lmao.
