lol I have no idea about car sounds tbh, but I’m glad PG is finally listening to feedback and making them better in FH5.

Same. I was like : “FH4 sounded great, what can they even add to that beside better recordings ?”. Then I heard the ingame sounds. They really upped their game.
And imagining how Motorsports will benefit from that work makes me dizzy.

From what I’ve seen so far it seems that Horizon 5 will have a very similar HUD and Menu to the ones in 4?
I really wish they worked on a better menu interface because I remember being confused as hell as a newcomer

This is my least favorite thing about FH4, and playing a little bit of 1 and 2 yesterday for the TA contest really crystallized it for me. When you start FH4 you’re greeted with so many popups, menus, and icons it’s just overwhelming. The earlier Horizon games had a clearer sense of progression and focus. I hope they can address this with FH5.
You were spot on: while Forza Horizon 4 is one my favorite games of all time, it really lacked a sense of progression for me.
I’d love to have some kind of a “CarDex” to give us an extra incentive to collect all those cars. I believe the Motorsport series has something like this?

I thought the menu was similar to FH2.
My first true experience with a Forza Horizon game was with 3, and the menu was indeed very similar to 4 – and as I was a newcomer it was hella confusing to me. And it still is when I go back to the game after a couple of months. That’s why I said I wish they worked on better menus for 5
Just watching this and the environments look stunning. Pausing the video before each car takes off to get a good look at the scenery. Photo mode is gonna bring out some crazy good picture.
Like FH4 looked amazing but FH5 is on another bloody level. Super keen for the next stream as they’ll be showing off the biomes.

Really wish they would upload in 4k too, watching the E3 demo in 1080 vs 4k there was such massive difference. 1080p at YouTubes bitrate doesn’t do the game justice.
I was not a believer of next gen sound, but now im a believer you can hear it echo off of the rocks on the canyon that crazy best to hear it with headphones. It really is next level sounds in a car game.
