more so than the resolution, its also 30fps

The motion blur on the trees and foliage compensating for it was a bit of a distraction to otherwise insanely gorgeous visuals.

I think they have a different SPU hardware and not using the CUs from GPU.

Actually Forza Horizon 4 unfortunately doesn’t have any progression. They gave a completely mess on the map with many races which gave us nothing. No true campaign, not any objective. Even the biggest races (The Marathon, The Colossus, The Goliath, etc.) are unlocking without having completion of all normal races and they’re not rewarded so nice. Just more money and XP points. Nothing else. Horizon Festival without feeling of any festival. That was my biggest disappointment.

I could understand that Playground Games wanted to give us more freedom, but in my opinion it didn’t worked out. Same for houses which didn’t nothing. Or that Horizon Stories and companies. They had big potential to be something better, deeper, better, but again – another filler without any point.

I hope new approach to the campaign in Forza Horizon 5 will be some return to the roots. At least in some way.

to me, the Barn Finds were the biggest highlight lmao, cuz they truly felt fun and rewarding to find obscure locations and incentivized actually exploring the beautiful open world they’d built. Other than that, completely agree. FH4 seemed like a great racing sandbox with very little sense of actually feeling like you’re going somewhere.

Would be nice if they offerred a free roam (like now) mode and more of a structured campaign.

I’m planning to setup a steering wheel setup just for this game. I think controller will not do justice to this level of realism.
