Dragon Quest being on Xbox basically confirms FF7 remake haha! There’s people posting that it’s not coming but I don’t see a situation where it completely skips Xbox.

Anything can happen but it does show that Square and Xbox have a good relationship if they’re willing to put FF Games on Game Pass for a year and even bring a series that’s never been on Xbox before to the platform. Same with Sega and Yakuza.

Would buy ff7 remake for a replay as my palythrough was on the base ps4 
Already played and completed FFVIIR episode one when it released so it doesn’t concern me personally but since all the other timed console exclusives Sony has paid for has had a date listed in fine print, it’s kind of odd that they wouldn’t give out the date for the Xbox One version of FFVIIR.

Im willing to try dlc if its included on a free upgrade but yeah I dont replay games nowadays and Im not dropping money on another copy.

An upgraded version of this game seems very likely. I feel like we’re getting closer to announcements on this game.
The other games aren’t subject to an exclusivity period, so it likely won’t be announced until that expires.
I already own the game on PS5(PS4) but really want it again on XSX, in 4k with better visuals. The games a looker, and the only thing that let it down was its lower resolution texture work. Sadly, I don’t think a next gen version will solve this, but at least it should be in 4k/60, so its still worth it.
I just hope it still comes. I have a feeling that the game will be kept off xbox for some reason.

The exclusivity ends on April 10. They are not legally allowed to talk about the PC and Xbox versions until that period is over.
Hopefully, Xbox gets the game in two months. I just wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen.

Square released Dragon Quest XI on gamepass day 1 so there’s precedent. I feel like 2021 will be the biggest year for day 1 games on gamepass.
