DC and Marvel multimedia thread (movies, games, TV shows etc)

I think GOTG game is gone to bomb like Avengers game im not seeing much hype for it at all.

Runaways is at least entertaining in its own form even if it is teen drama trash with minimal super power elements.

Just saw Iron Man again, still a great movie. Gotta love the parts where we see the suit being created and assembled. And such an awesome suit it is too. It’s been a long, long time that I watched this movie, great to do it again.

If I want to include the Hulk and Spidey movies too I’m gonna have to look up where they are in the chronological order.

Hulk and Spidey movies are not needed. Only the Homecoming series later

I find this a cool channel, been subbed for a while now. He likes it, but it could have been much more. He liked the message in it and wishes they had done more with it.

Some might have said it isn’t a typical Marvel movie, he says it is. But it sounds good to me.

Feel like the whole "Feige being impressed with Eternal " thing months ago was a PR stunt.

I remember them saying that its best picture worthy :phil_lmao: . They said this just after the 1st batman trailer dropped .

Watched The Incredible Hulk and is still a great movie in my opinion, enjoyable from beginning till end. I can’t say that about the one with Eric Bana, that one didn’t do much for me. Tomorrow it’s time for Thor.

The first part in Brazil is fantastic!

It definitely is. Overall it’s just a really good movie and I don’t know, feels to me that this one is never mentioned when it really should. Great acting, interesting story, great action, a bit of comedy but not a lot which is fine for this. And the CGI to me still to this day looks great.

Also it should be on Disney+ ,and the Tom Holland Spideys too.

Hulk contracting and licensing is weird - and I think, Universal has to be a part of any solo movie. IIRC.

Yep. Universal has some rights to any solo hulk movie, but no rights if he teams up. Very weird.

I recall now, Marvel has the rights to make the Hulk movie, but Universal has to be included for any distribution.

While we are on the subject of The Incredible Hulk - Is anyone else still upset that Marvel Studios took one of the (if not the most) beloved Hulk stories (Planet Hulk) and made it a (mostly joke filled) part of Thor: Ragnarok? Because it still irks the crap out of me .

Boy, remember when the rumors were that “Eternals was the greatest thing Marvel ever did?” or “Marvel doesn’t know how big of a masterpiece they have?” or my favorite “Eternals will be the first Superhero movie to win Best Picture, it’s that good says my sources”.

Gonna be close to the first rotten MCU film.

Is it that bad?

Sounds more “middling” or “average” than outright “bad”, but we’ll see.

I don’t know how that story goes, never been really familiar with Marvel comics or Marvel a whole until Iron Man (2008).

If they dont figure out their profit-sharing relationship with Universal, then we should probably expect more of the Hulk’s stories in either Thor or one of the other MCU movies.

I don’t know what is the issue .Surely, their deals with Sony were the worst. Up until the first Tom Holland Spiderman movie, they barely got any revenue percentage from Spidey movies. If they were able to some extent negotiate upwards there, then even negotiations with Universal should be possible.

Wonder if they could make a Hulk Disney+ show without involving Universal?
