Fair enough. I wasn’t a fan of the writing or characters, and I played the game on mute with something in my other TV so I can’t comment on the music.
I did appreciate the Mercy system you could use in battle. In the long run its not really that different from regular battles, as either way you need to figure out the techniques to use for each monster, but it was at least disguised as something different, which I appreciate.
Finished Doom64. Meh, the original Doom is one of my favorite games of all time, but i’m not really feeling this one.
Your are not the only one. I liked the characters, music and the overall design even though i suck at these bullet hell shooters very much. Very unique game. It even got me to dust of my old 6502 knowledge and try to replicate some off the stuff in the game on a C64.
I felt like Undertale was pitched to an audience that I’m not a part of. Younger, extremely online, into anime and meme humor, maybe not as familiar with classic JRPGs. A game for the Adventure Time crowd in other words. There were definitely some clever touches though.
After 708 days The Council is finally finished . That was a rough one because the game felt super slow and it didn’t get remotely interesting till episode 3. It has some cool ideas with the skill tree.

Every GamerScore earned from now until Monday, April 5, 2021 2:59 AM will count towards Week 29’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the week will gain 10 points, the second place will gain 9 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new week will begin.
Every GamerScore earned until Thursday, April 1, 2021 2:59 AM will also count towards March’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.
Don’t forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.
Just finished up Costume Quest base game and started the DLC. Cute game so far, and I like how the costumes essentially work as different classes. Can’t decide if I’m going to move onto #2 right away or if I’ll play something else first to give myself a break.
Hah, only now I’ve seen the difference between you and the 10th! 1 points isn’t that much, though, and at least you secured the 100 points from the game of the month!
When I started this I had only a bit more than 120k. You can suddenly have an inspired month and rack up the ranks!
Although a great game, the second game can wear you out if you play it right after the first one. You have to play the whole game with a costume that does nothing in your party, which significantly makes the battles longer and more boring. It is slightly bigger aswell.
Damn, I’m here struggling to not buy any new games while you are out there going rogue.
And since I’m going back to Octopath Traveler, I believe I can wrap up my month now.
This was a crazy month to say the least. I haven’t bought any new games, and instead tackled my backlog and focused on GwG and Game Pass games. Overall I played 20 games and completed 19 of them (the only one left is Octopath Traveler, which I recently started).
