Yakuza 6 might be the first Yakuza game i get 100% in. I got close with Yakuza Like a Dragon (missing just 1 achievement). Looks like it only takes 40 hours and doesn’t require playing Mohjang.
The tower achievement in LAD makes me not want to 100%… might have to look at some more online guides again and see what I can do.
Yakuza is a series I want to 100% one game, but those damn casino and board games are what really kill that off for me… and I don’t want to attempt the climax battles in 0. lol
As I said before, it took me only 10 hours to get every achievement besides the grindy ones (clear 100,000 Minos and Puyos). You only have to beat the Adventure Mode and get a 100% completion on it – which is no problem, since for some reason it goes way beyond that percentage. The last boss of the campaign was definitely the most difficult part of the game, and it took me many, many tries to defeat it.
There are some skill-based achievements, but nothing too hard. For comparison, you only have to perform an 8-combo during a match, while Tetris Effect requires you to do a 15-combo. There are some multiplayer achievements that requires you to win 10 ranked matches and 1 unranked. The biggest challenge here was to find a match.
I was going to drop the game at 860g because I didn’t feel like grindind the rest of the achievements, but then I found out I could grind one of them while keeping pressed two buttons if I changed the control layout. Then I kept the buttons pressed while I watched sports or Netflix lol It took another 13 hours of grinding, putting the completion time at 23 hours.
Second week in a row I managed to complete a game that was during its free play days, so I’m happy with my savings
Here is the General Points Ranking with the results from the first 21 weeks:

Every GamerScore earned until Monday, March 1, 2021 2:59 AM will also count towards February’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.
Don’t forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.
I’m glad I gave it a shot, especially because there’s no way I would have paid that price for it, not even the sale price. Plus, those games with few completions always make me go the extra mile!
Speaking of which, is anyone playing The Falconeer? I’ve unlocked some very easy achievements, but the tracker says it was only unlocked by less than 1% of the players. That’s mental!
For example, I’ve just unlocked an achievement that can be done from the start in less than 20 seconds, and it was unlocked by 0.26% of the players. To put things into perspective, the grindiest achievement in Puyo Puyo Tetris was unlocked by 0.25% of the players.
The “Complete Chapter 2” achievement was only unlocked by 0.63% of the players and has a 6.79 ratio on TA lol
Gamepass kinda messes up the achievement ratios so even have easy to obtain achievements can be extremely rare. I bet on Trueachievements the unlock ratio for that achievement is much higher.
Finished Grim Fandango on PC (thanks Play Anywhere). That was a disappointing one even more so because I really enjoyed replaying Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle. So I was surprised how bad Grim Fandango has aged. These early 3D point & click adventures were a mistake
On a lighter note Donut Country wasn’t so bad, a bit simplistic but had good humor and it didn’t overstay its welcome.
The achievement is bad, yes. But it got me to switch to the PC version which is miles better with mouse control. On Xbox you can’t see all your interaction options, which sucks in a p&c adventure game.
What really got to me was the super slow inventory system with its needless animations.
Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle are still king
Easy high ratio achievements? Might have to put The Falconeer on my game plan for tonight. Black Desert completion is doable but a very long grind thanks to fishing and processing items.
I’m approaching the finish line on Kingdoms of Amalur remaster. Teeth of Naros DLC tonight, then all the pickpocketing/crime/jail achievements (not sure why there are so many related to a system which feels like a total afterthought in the game) them mopping up the Lorestone collectibles. And praying that the fake-platinum achievement actually unlocks.
I’ve played the game for around 7 hours and there are 9 achievements left for the completion (half of them are story related). The biggest difficult in this completion is understanding how the game works and what the hell you are supposed to do, but once everything clicks it becomes a very, very enjoyable game.
I might even give Squadrons another try anytime soon!
Finally got my Series X a week or so ago and busting out Achievements left and right. True Achievements is such a fun way to check your meta-play progress against others. Cool stuff.
