Oh, I had a blast with the game! I didn’t go for the completion because Avengers released right after I finished the main story. I did not play the original, though, so I don’t know much about improvements.

Achievements-wise, people talk about a difficult post-game achievement, but I am sure you have been through worse ones.

I ended up downloading Hotshot Racing and Descenders yesterday, and I loved them both! Fun little games with a certain dose of challenge.

The achievement list in Hotshot does seem boring, though.

I think the TrueAchievement Score is as flawed as the GamerScore.

For example, there is a tough achievement in Forza Horizon 4 worth 20 GamerScore with a 10.31 ratio - only 1% of the 252,214 tracked players unlocked it. But as the achievement has a low GS, it’s worth only 206 TA Score.

Toybox Turbos, on the other hand, has a simple achievement worth 200 GamerScore that was unlocked by 23% of the tracked players - around 23%, which puts it with a TA Score of 414.

The easy achievement is worth 10x the GamerScore of the difficult one, as well as 2x the TA Score.

That’s why I don’t care much for TA Score. I prefer to track the official GamerScore and keep an eye on the TA Ratio.

Sometimes I wish I had a profile with a higher percentage rate, but then I remember I wouldn’t be able to play some of my favorite games, like Rocksmith and Rock Band. I would probably never have played the Master Chief Collection and Rare Replay aswell.

Well I’m looking forward to going for the Avengers and Watch Dogs achievements when XSX, hopefully the Avengers achievement issues will be fixed by then!

I got into FH4 again… Had some Stories to complete and some other random achievements to hunt down. Such a great game!

I beat The Dark Crystal: Resistance Tactics the other night and found out the last achievement is for beating the game again in New Game+ mode. The game is fun, but man that sucks. :smile:

I remember playing that on release, spent about 90 hours in the first two weeks but I haven’t played it since so I clearly need to get back in to it!

Oof, that is not fun. I very rarely bother with those unless it’s a superduper good game or in a second playthrough way down the line. Depends a bit on how long the game is too of course.

It’s probably a 12 hour undertaking, but I think I’m going to go for it since I can play it through XCloud on my back porch for an hour at a time. Did that yesterday and enjoyed the experience.

Ah that sounds very nice. Too cold for that here now though.

xCloud really is changing habits, I can also squeeze in gaming at times where it was not possible before. Haven’t gotten used to it yet though.

Yes! The latest Avengers’ patch has retroactively unlocked my last bugged achievement! Gotta work on those last 10 achievs now!

Shooting for 600k before the next gen launch. Can I do it? I’d need around 30k. :thinking: I’m guessing yes if I’m not lazy about it.

Hopefully the game has less bugs when the Series X version launches! The achievement list is not hard, but it takes 60+ hours.

We are looking at what? Around 600 GamerScore per day? You may need to tackle a few Ratalaika games to reach your goal :stuck_out_tongue:

My personal project until the next-gen launch is to tackle as much Smart Delivery completions as I possible can to get a head start on the Series X achievements leaderboard :smiley:

Every GamerScore earned from now until Monday, September 28, 2020 2:59 AM will count towards Week 2’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the week will gain 10 points, the second place will gain 9 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new week will begin.

Every GamerScore earned until Thursday, October 1, 2020 2:59 AM will also count towards September’s Ranking. Whoever earns the most GamerScore during the month will gain 100 points, the second place will gain 90 points, and so on. Then the Ranking will reset again and a new month will begin.

Don’t forget that this topic is first and foremost destined to talk about all your achievements and trophies, discuss completions and even try to gather people for a boosting session! The Ranking is just a side activity to take part in.
