I realized I should probably play the first one first… then I watched some gameplay and I’m not sure I want to play any of them lol.

My problem with all these japanese RPGs is they are all so looooooong. I dropped Dragon Quest 11 after the first act, had seen enough.

Yeah, I could probably endure that if it was shorter but nothing I saw was very compelling.

Even I can agree lol which also makes it tough for me to replay JRPGs that MS brings as late ports as most times it’s a title I’ve played (I almost never do another replay unfortunately),Makes me wish the Ys series was on Xbox, those I would replay. Most of em are only 8-12 hours… The first is like 6 hours lol (at least Ys Origin is on Xbox, that’s about 8 hours). Something I like about that series is that you get the JRPG adventure experience without the time investment

The newer ones are about 40-50 hours but that’s to do everything.

Cheers man, I did seriously questions what I was doing with my life a few times. Made the completion easier being able to sit on the sofa whilst watching TV using Steam Deck.

Starting the second game today.

Well what can I say about Calico, it’s a game alright :sweat_smile:. Not really more to say then that. Can’t really say I recommend anyone go and buy this honestly unless you want the 1000G, the only reason I have it was because of Games with Gold. This game really shows just how lackluster the service has become, I get most of the money is going into Game Pass, as it should, but I do wish they could would either drop GwG or something at this point cause it feels more and more so a waste of resources :man_shrugging:

Another Games with Gold game, it’s better the the last one though not by a whole lot. The best thing it has going for it is the visuals, they are pretty nice. Besides that though it’s a pretty shallow puzzle platformer with some jank controls, especially when playing as the cat, my god was it annoying at times with the ragdoll physics and the cat constantly slipping off platforms for no reason. Again I would’t recommend the game unless you want the 1000G

Easy 2K with Cooking Simulator (Windows) via dev tools :man_shrugging: Not going to do this one even if i makes me a bad achievement hunter. It unlocks DLC achievements without have DLC and unlocks unobtainables too. We’ll see how TA handles this one.

Apparently Eastshade, Rogue Wizards, Megaton Rainfall has commands also but gotta figure it out. So use a usb keyboard or the PC version and slam the keyboard. :man_shrugging: Credit to Noth on TA

I think it’s time Xbox shut these things down. The GS inflation is ridiculous, and I’m starting to feel like there’s no point in it anymore.
