Completion #62: GreedFall :achievement:

It only took me two years since my first playthrough, but I finally went back to beat GreedFall on insanity difficulty! Honestly loved this game the first time I played through it and two years later my love of the game hasnā€™t dwindled one bit. It brings me back to the good olā€™ days of classic Bioware games and I couldā€™t be happier. This game goes on sale from time to time and if you never played it back when it was in Game Pass I highly suggest grabbing it asap!

Iā€™m playing it for the first time right now! Itā€™s very good, a bit AA-janky here and there but itā€™s charming af. I also instantly compared it to old Bioware games, hah. The setting is also very nice, like it a lot.

Not going for a completion now but I will return for a second playthrough sometime for sure.

Yeah, it does have a little bit of jank to it in a few aspects but I think overall they nailed it. They world is super interesting, the story pulls you in, and you choices actually have a major impact unlike a lot of other games now adays. Canā€™t wait for the sequel, though sadly itā€™s not coming out till next year at the earliest, but Iā€™ve got high hopes for it and hopefully the team can take it to the next level!

If you havenā€™t already played this on PC and you like creepy atmospheric horror games. Definitely check this out at the end of the month. Great game :+1: The VHS aesthetic is a great touch, if you are a stickler for ā€œbad graphicsā€ it might turn you off. Its a game where right from the start something is off and youā€™ll want to know whats going on. Achievement wise its somewhat all story related some missable but if you pay attention and remember to look at capitalized words you should figure it out. Resident Evil 4 who? Jk

Completion #63: High on Life :achievement:

Finally decided to go hunt down all the Luglox chests and mop up a few odds and ends to complete the game. Overall I enjoyed High on Life more then I thought I would and itā€™s cool to see a comady game doing well in the current gaming climate. I know the humor isnā€™t for everyone and I even had some moments where I thought they missed the mark but in the end i had fun and had quite a few laughs. In particular I loved knifey his commentary always got a laugh outta me, especially as I was farming mite kills, his hate for them is hilarious and helped me through the mind numbing process of killing 400+ of the annoying bastards.

Iā€™ve been on a Japanese RPG kick lately and Iā€™m hooked to playing Ni No Kuni before moving onto the sequel. Oh boy! The end game is an absolute chore that really sours you a little on an otherwise excellent game. Two achievements left and I really want to move on but I JUST CANā€™T :joy:

Iā€™ve been thinking of starting the game here recently, how long have you played it so far roughly? Is it a super long completion?

92 hours and the last two achievements are RNG based. So could be another 30+ hours if RNGesus is good to you.

You have to catch 250 Familiars and evolve them to their next evolution. Each familiar can have up to four different types and have to be leveled up using jumbo Gems. Basically Pokemon.

The Alchemist achievement requires you to create a bunch of items and most of the ingredients are super rare and can only be stolen from certain enemies.

Aye youā€™re a wise man, haha. The game only has 400 odd people with the completion and even then some of them look dodgy with time of completion being far too low.

Completion #64: Chinatown Detective Agency :achievement:

Decided to crack through the game since itā€™s leaving Game Pass here at the end of the month. It was interesting to say the least, itā€™s got an interesting story that grips you in and it has three different story paths you can take. I enjoyed my time with the game, though I will say the game bugged out and skipped the last section for me for some reason and I got to cheese all the different endings which saved me a few hours of replay, which I wonā€™t complain about lol.

Another game leaving Game Pass here shortly that I buckled down to complete, itā€™s a solid game but I just couldnā€™t get with the vibe of the game. I think the only part I can say I enjoyed was the Ace Attorney section, but thatā€™s probably only for the nostalgia of it and nothing more. Not bad by any means but just not my cup of tea.

This was the most fun game of the three for me, it was fun figuring out how to beat every level, die by every disc, survive 20 seconds in every room, etc. Really glad I finally got around to playing Disc Room it was a blast!

Yeah i started it, downloaded from Gamepass app. The achievements didnt show up on Trueachievements for awhile which was odd.
