I agree they made some weird choices with some of the features in the game but the foundation is pretty good

I’ve got one more achievement left in Elden Ring to get and Was adoring every minute of it. Now I’m at the Malenia fight and feel like throwing my controller out the window! She is ridiculous man

Completion #90

Decent game with some very good, and some very bad, puzzles. A few game mechanics that was never explained prior to the puzzles reguiring them had me stuck and forced to look up solutions, not great. Most of it was fun though, and the concept was really good. If you like puzzles, check it out.

Loved this game! So much mystery and tons of fascinating things to discover. FROM seriously do some of my favourite art and lore in any game. The only problem I really had was the Malenia fight. Big thanks to trueMage for finally helping me take her down, whomever you may be

Malenia was the only boss I felt I need to summon a CO-OP bro for. Not sure if she is unbalanced or I just don’t have the skills necessary for it.

It’s going to be an interesting GOTY discussion this year with Elden Ring and Hopefully Starfeild.

Really tempted to jump back in and see what I’ve still to discover but my game pass backlog is screaming at me now.

Finished this one up over the weekend. Easily my favorite Pikmin style game (yes, better than any actual Pikmin game). Good story, fun gameplay, and it’s on Game Pass so nobody has an excuse for skipping it

Yes, it was a rather slow week. Usually you need at least 1000 points to get into the top 10. Probably a combination of everybody still playing Elden Ring and the current Game Pass games beeing a bit longer in completion? Maybe A Memoir Blue changes this for the last week of March.

Completion #35: Omno

Omno really surprised me, it’s a simple adventure game with some puzzle solving but it just had such a vibe to it. It was really laid back and atmospheric. I keep wanting to explore each zone even after 100%ing them and just hanging out enjoying just being there. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and I highly recommend this game especially if you’re just looking for a laid back and relaxing time.

Use frost and summon a 10+ mimic. Make you have a light shield ( or any shield really) in your inventory and hold block during her second phase when she does that big flower move thing, you won’t take any damage. I was a double great sword blade but kept a shield on my hotkey just for the second phase and then put my second sword back once she stopped with her big flower move thing.

There are far too many rare achievements across xbox, I think they need to rework the system a bit.

They should at least do like True Achievements and only count people that have unlocked at least one achievement in the game. Right now if I accidentally boot up a game or boot it up just to complete a Play weekly quest then I’m counted in that achievement percentage, even if I have no intention of ever actually playing the game.

At this point Xbox won’t change the system unless they can monetize it like TA does . In all seriousness though, how long have they been saying they’re reworking achievements, forever it feels like. It’s just not a priority for them in the least sadly, and will likely stay that way unless they can either monetize it, or find some worthwhile way to drastically overhaul the system in a way to make more people care and it drives up user interaction in a meaningful way. I hope I’m wrong and I’ll happily eat crow on this if they actually improve the system, but I honestly don’t see that happening anytime soon if at all frankly.
