Achievement Hunting |OT| Every point counts

Such a shame that it’s taken so long to get this game into a solid next-gen state. It could still use some gameplay QOL but the world and story are so amazing, it deserves to be played!

I REALLY enjoyed it over a year ago, great game. Been waiting a while for DLC… hehe.

When this game was first announced I was annoyed that they didn’t use the likeness of the MCU actors, but within a few minutes of playing that annoyance went away. Fun gameplay, really good story, great voice acting, this is definitely a game I recommend to anyone that is looking for an action game with a sense of humor.

Completion #33: Superhot: Mind Control Delete

Recently went back to mop up this game. Really enjoyed this game a ton, played the hell out of it and even got through the 100 level challenge (Should have been an achievement :sob:) Could have completed it a lot faster but I was just having a blast playing the game and trying out different things contently. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn’t played it before it’s just wacky fun.

Been meaning to start the game, just need to find the time . Glad to hear you enjoyed it, I’m looking forward to sinking my teeth in, whenever that may be lol.

Very nice. Bought it last year but haven’t gotten around to it yet… Should play it soon. How was the achievement hunting?

Very easy but kind of bad at the same time. You basically have to play with guide in hand so you find all the missables in one playthrough. There is a mission select but it glitches the collectibles. It detracts from the game a bit that you have to constantly stop and consult the guide because you can’t mop up later.

Oof, that is not fun… How long is the game? Maybe 2 playthroughs is better…

20+ hours. It’s pretty meaty.

Damn… I have to think about how I want to approach it then. Does not feel like a game I want to sit with my nose in a guide.

FYI, this was the guide I used: Guardians of the Galaxy All Collectibles Locations Guide

It does a good job of just telling you where the collectibles are while doing its best to avoid spoiling anything in the story. What I tended to just reading the first sentence and then not bothering with the rest until that happened in-game. So for example, the first collectible in Chapter 2 starts with “As you follow Nikki…” so I’d stop reading there and not bother reading any further until I met and was following Nikki. That way even the few minor spoilers that they do have tend not to spoil anything for me. I still played the vast majority of the game without a guide (I didn’t have to look up anything for any puzzles or anything) so I didn’t feel like it took away from my experience as much as following a guide for a lot of other games.

Has anyone played Royal Frontier? Was thinking about it for the TA RPG target this month, it’s a Ratalaika game so it’s either going to be really crap or quite good.

Completion #34: Gorogoa

Gorogoa was an interesting puzzle game for me. Puzzle games for more are very hit or miss for me and this one was pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking but I was enjoyable and never got annoying at any point, I’m looking at you pedestrian , though the story was ok I guess. I don’t know how to express that part of the game as it feels to me to be up for interpretation and nothing concrete, though there’s a good chance it went right over my head haha. Gorogoa is a fun puzzle game and a relatively quick completion so I’d recommend this personally, especially over The Pedestrian if you are choosing between the two.

I did it! I am disappointed in the game but it has a good enough foundation and if they can do some QOL and performance updates it could be good. Definitely wasnt 11 hours cause i do play it to mess around and chill out. Maybe 7 or less

Nice! I have that game as my chill out-game on the side so it’ll take a while to complete, if ever. The actual snowboarding is really good, the rest is cringe af hehe.

Has anyone here play the game Goetia? I can’t unlock the final achievement which is to “unlock all achievements” in the game. I’ve got all the prerequisite achievements and it has been a year since with no update.

Haven’t played it but I checked TA and no one has that achievement. :slightly_frowning_face:

Right! And judging by the first achievement someone would get in the game, not many have played it. So, it probably won’t be fixed.
