Finally finished up Psychonauts 2. There were a handful of collectibles that I had to use a video to find, some of which were painfully obvious (why didn’t I ever look for coconuts in the palm trees?) and some I don’t think I ever would have found on my own. Loved the game overall, one of my favorites of the year.

Took a look at the achievement list for The Good Life while waiting for it to install and…what is this game!?

• Saw a villager turn into a cat or dog for the first time.
• Traveled 100,000 yards on a sheep.
• Boosted all of one sheep’s parameters to Level 10.
• Won 100 drinking contests.

I have no idea what to expect when I start up this game, but I am excited!

As someone who is fascinated but also terrified of what may be living at the very dark depths of the Sea, this game can be creepy as hell. Excellent story that grips you from the start and can be completed in one sitting. Only one missiable achievement. Really enjoyed this.

Yes, as someone who is both a wuss about scary games in general, and is particularly creeped out by deep ocean stuff… this game was really scary. Quite an experience.

I’m playing AI: the Somnium Files and it seems like a very doable 1000G but I haven’t looked too much into the achievements in fear of spoilers.

I do wish the game did a better job of explaining stuff though. At this point I have just shy of $200 and I need almost $800 to continue with the main quest, but I have yet to find a consistent way to make good money.

Anyone else playing this game? It’s definitely not what I would consider good, but I’d say it is just bad enough to fall into the “campy” category and I’m a sucker for campy stuff. I do wish the game did a better job of explaining stuff though. At this point I have just shy of $200 and I need almost $800 to continue with the main quest, but I have yet to find a consistent way to make good money.

I haven’t played a lot of it yet but it’s definitely a Swery65 game I didn’t realize it was a life simulator. Xbox should buy his studio for more cult classics

Completion #74: Assassin’s Creed Origins !

This took a while, long and big game in is own right but I got completely sold on the setting and stories and spent almost 150 hours in it. Beutiful, fun exploration and combat, interesting quests and very good expansions. I completed both The Hidden Ones and The Curse of the Pharaohs too and both were great and very different to each other. I loved how they dove in deep into the mythology in a way that actually makes some ingame sense with the AC lore etc.

Even after such a long game, I still wanted to continue playing. I rode my camel out into the desert in a perhaps a bit weird sentimental move before I logged out, and will return some day for sure. Awesome game!

It’s an incredible game, well worth the completion too. Unfortunately, 2 of my DLC1 cheevos glitched out (seems to be a common occurrence), so I still need to start a New Game+ and blast through the beginning of the base game and most of DLC1 again, in the hopes it won’t glitch out again. I’ll surely do it down the line, hopefully after a 60fps patch drops. Hard to go back to 30 after Valhalla and Odyssey both boast 60fps now.
